Tuesday 24th May was the ‘Meet the CRF’ taster event and tenants came along to
take part in an afternoon of quizzes, crafts and conversation. We joined in the fun
and caught up with Eunice Clarkson, Chair of the Connect Residents Federation (CRF).
Everybody has been having
a really good time. I’ve been
telling the new tenants all about
our thriving communities. A lot of
people were especially impressed
with the transport Connect
provided to and from the event.
The aim of the
event today is
to promote the CRF
and hopefully gain new
members. We want to
let tenants know about
the strong group that
we have, that is run for
tenants by tenants.
Everyone is welcome to join,
but we aimed this event at
new tenants especially, an
event like this can really show
what the CRF is all about.
One of the benefits of these
meetings is that it promotes
and creates new friendships
and can combat loneliness by
helping people get out of their
house and mingle with the
friendly CRF members. ‘Meet
the CRF’ is an annual event and
we’ll continue with it, especially
after the success of today.
