Kensyen and Kasyen are two of fashion modeling?s
rising stars.
Wherever they go, the twins have been known to
steal the show. In fact they where actually
discovered in 2012 while waiting in line for their
older brother to audition for a runway show during
Charlotte Fashion week. Since then the seven year
old twins, affectionately known as the Twincesses,
have participated in runway shows from New York
to South Carolina to include; Charlotte Seen
Fashion Week, Passport for Fashion, and Auto
Immune Kids Fashion Show in New York. The girls
have been featured on the covers of I- Fashion
Magazine and now Level 21 Magazine . They have
graced the pages of Young Fashion Kids Magazine
Most Beautiful Twins (September issue) and most
recently IndiKids Magazine Kid?s (Winter issue).
Kensyen and Kasyen were born entertainers. From
early childhood the girls were gifted with the ability
to captivate audiences through modeling, singing,
and dancing. The girls are equally as smart as they
are beautiful and are always being complimented on
their good behavior by their teachers.
The twins are heating up the children?s runway
scene. Recently designer Shanae White, of Princess
Kingdom, selected the girls to be Snooty Booty Girls
2016 for Patricia Sharma.
The Twinceseses are full of energy. They light up
every show with their charisma and spunk. Young
and full of hope, Kensyen and Kasyen have big
dreams of having their own reality show: The
Kronicles of K&K which was inspired by the Tia and
Tamara Mowry's television show. With a vision as
big as their personalities, these wonder twins are
looking forward to their names being in lights and
being so famous they can buy all the dolls they
want! Watch out for these fresh faces. When you?ve
got talent like theirs, not even the sky is a limit.

ast night saw the launch of fashion industry
executive Simon Ward's new book: 'Riding the
Tide: a tithe of Psalms'.
Described as a "worship leader, occasional
songwriter and creative explorer", as well as
being a key player in the organization of London
Fashion Week and the British Fashion Awards,
Simon is passionate about making connections
between the creative industries and the world
of faith.
The evening promised "surprises and glamour",
and certainly did not disappoint.
Simon, chief operating officer of the British
Fashion Council, introduced himself by singing
one of his own songs, an amalgamation of
several Psalms set to an upbeat backing track
offered by a live five piece band.
Appropriately, the song finished with the phrase
"Your truth never goes out of fashion, I can
always walk with my head held high", a verse
taken directly from the Message's translation of
Psalm 119.
Interviewed by TV producer Claudine de
Montule, Simon then shared of his role within
the fashion industry and how he is able to
reconcile the fast paced lifestyle with his
Christian faith.
"I work in Somerset House, where London
Fashion Week is held and we have a statue in
the grounds that contains a verse from Psalm 1:
'Like a tree planted by the river...'; it's there right
in my workplace. I love the links that can be
found between God, the Bible, fashion and
culture," he explained.
Considered by many to be narcissistic, the
fashion industry is often critizied by Christians
as an outworking of our image-obsessed society,
but Simon was quick to insist that although it
may have a darker side, fashion is all about the
celebration of creativity and talent - God-given
gifts.
"I love creativity. There's so much passion
surrounding the fashion and creative
industries," he explained.
"It's such an important thing and a really vibrant

Let?s face it, there isn?t a parent alive that hasn?t at
one time looked at their child and thought ?A Star is
Born?. We take one look at our little ones singing or
dancing and our eyes instantly glaze over as we
imagine them gracing the red carpet or accepting
awards on the big stage. No one else can sing quite as
well or act as with such flare as our shining star. We
happily become the ?stage parent?, toting them from
rehearsal to lessons and attending every performance
with cameras in tow. In fact we schedule our lives (and
budgets) around the hopes, dreams and chances that
someone else will notice just how special our child is.
That our star will shine so bright that everyone will be
beating down your door to hire them.
Unfortunately, all that glitters isn?t gold. The
entertainment industry, like any other, has its share of
criminals that are looking to take advantage of your
dreams and your child. They are hoping that through
your rosy and enamored eyes you will miss the dangers
lurking behind the glow of stardom. From financial
crooks to sexual predators, the industry is ripe with
individuals that could potentially harm your child.
Recently, Hollywood?s stars have begun to speak out
against the crimes that are often perpetrated against
children in the entertainment industry. Famous child
stars Corey Feldman (Lost Boys and Goonies) and
Allison Arngrim, the former ?Little House on the Prairie?
star are amongst stars speaking about the impact that
sexual abuse within the industry had on their lives.
Corey Feldman even attributes the death of friend and
fellow actor Corey Haim to the emotion distress he
endured as a result of the abuse he suffered at the
hands of industry moguls.
"I can tell you that the number one problem in
Hollywood was, and is, and always will be pedophilia.
That?s the biggest problem, for children in this
industry? It?s all done under the radar ? it?s the big
secret. I was surrounded by them when I was 14 years
old ? they were everywhere, like vultures." -Corey

In an industry where child safety and labor laws are
not as important as they should be, how then do we
keep our children safe? By following a few steps that
can help you remain in control of the Yellow Brick
Road your child is heading down.
10 tips for keeping your child safe
1.Research Research Research. ? .. Do your research.
You wouldn?t hire a contractor without vising the
Better Business Bureau website. Why wouldn?t you do
the same with someone working with your child.
Investigate the Company via the Better Business
Bureau. Always check the business rating before
investing any money in pictures, classes or
representation.
2.In today?s market, a background search is a mouse
click away. If anyone approaches you about
representing your child and they are not connected to
a company, we suggest running your own background
check on an individual. Websites such as
www.ussearch.com and www.beenverified.com offer
affordable options for looking into the background of
individuals.
3.Believe it or not, many people fail to protect their
children from predators because they don?t consider
the possibility that predators are out there. Before
you allow anyone access to your child, check them
against websites dedicated to listing sexual
offenders. There are state and national websites that
make it easy to check for offenders in your area. Start
your search with two sites that will help you search
nationally as well as connect you to sites that serve
