night of rock ‘n’
roll legends

The biggest ’80s and ’90s throwback
concert in N’West Iowa is
coming to Boji Bay Legacy Park’s
brand new Harley-Davidson Music
Stage for a night of spectacular rock
‘n’ roll performances on Saturday,
July 23.
The event will feature Warrant,
Firehouse and Hericane Alice.
Warrant, an American glam metal
band, sold over 10 million albums
internationally from 1989 to 1996.
The band first became famous with
their Double Platinum album “Dirty
Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich” that featured
the hit single, “Heaven.” Reaching
No. 1 in Rolling Stone magazine,
the band continued their success
with another Double Platinum album,
“Cherry Pie.” The hit album,
title song and music video launched
Warrant into their peak ultimate stardom
selling over 7 million albums.
Named after Warrant’s hit single,
“Cherry Pie,” the concert is called the
Cherry Pie Arena Rock Show. Before
the performances kick off, Boji Bay
will give away 250 free mini cherry
pies to the audience.
Fire House sold over 6.5 million
records in 1990 with their hit
single “Love of a Lifetime.” The band,
which is on their 25th Anniversary
summer tour, will follow Hericane
Alice in the lineup.
Hericane Alice paved their way
into the music industry with their hit
song, “Wild Young and Crazy.” The
band will open the show at 6 p.m.
Tom Tourville, director of marketing
at Boji Bay, helps schedule the
venue’s summer concert lineup. He
said that the show will be an epic
throwback performance that fans
won’t be able to hear anywhere else.
“There are more hits from these
bands than any other concert you’ll
hear this summer,” said Tourville.
“You’re going to have the opportunity
to see some of the best original
hits but you’ll also get to see them by
the guys who originally did it.”
By visiting Boji Bay’s website, those
that buy tickets for the event are eligible
to register for a chance to meet
the bands. Seventy-five passes will
be given away, 25 for each band performing.
For ticket sales you can preorder
online through Boji Bay or you can
purchase them at the gate before the
show. Tickets are general admission
for $22 and children are welcome to
