BRAND ACTIVITIES We are the CHAMPIONS, my friends!! Before Portugal games Samsung promoted an activation that asked fans to guess the final score in a SUHD TV frame. The most creative pictures using #SUHDTV won an official jersey of our national team. In the VIP area the star was the SUHD TV that broadcasted the games in a more exclusive environment. This activation reinforced Samsung presence as a Football strategic partner and strengthened SUHD TV campaign.
BRAND ACTIVITIES Get in Gear! Samsung is changing the way it communicates and the Get in Gear event is a great example of what’s to come. Product presentations are mainly directed to Tech Media with product specifications as the focus. Get in Gear was completely different. This event was promoted by Samsung London and hosted by YH Lee, Executive Vice President for Wearables. It took place in Milan and Portugal hosted 4 key media publications: GQ, Men’s Health, ELLE and Activa. Divided in four different moments, the event introduced the new Gear Fit2 and IconX and provided media with the opportunity to experiment and have fun with the Gear 360… A Gear Fit2 and an IconX were given to be used throughout the day.
