BUSINESS OVERVIEW As we predicted, in June we have reached our MP in Sales (100.4%) continuing to perform very positively in terms of profit (19.5%). This is a remarkable result in a month that we, as a country, also reached an outstanding conquest – EURO Champions. Coming back to Fernando Santos words he only admitted to return when the tournament was over means he had a strong believe that we would win it. We are heading to the same goal and we need to have the same strong believe to reach our vision. In this sense June was a very important milestone. Our major categories are reaching the MP and our new growth engine B2B is delivering its first PT2020 Project. I would like also to congratulate the Marketing Teams for having been recognized by London Office for Global Mobile Best Practices. This teams recognition is everybody success. FREDERICO PAIVA
BRAND ACTIVITIES Samsung Bring Portuguese and Korean students together! Imagine two elementary schools separated by more than 10.000 quilometers and eight time zones. One in Vidigueira, Portugal, and the other in Daeyanam, Gunsan, Korea. Last 16 th of June, <strong>SEP</strong> used Samsung technology to transform a big distance into a small detail. HQ Corporate Citizenship Team provided all details from Korea side, just before the sunset. <strong>SEP</strong> did the same in Portugal, just after sunrise. Portuguese and Korean students only had their Samsung Smart Classroom solution in common. Now they have much more. This exchange class between Portugal and Korea was the perfect opportunity to celebrate the 100% success rate achievement by all 140 students within the Educational Project that brought together Samsung Portugal, Gulbenkian Foundation and the University of Évora.
