PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE<br />
Hello CGA<br />
Have heard from many that both Northern and Southern Spring Classics<br />
went extremely well and many had a great time. What a great season we<br />
have had so far.<br />
Through the years of going to State Show I have acquired some tips on<br />
“being prepared”. Here are just a couple of tips for your journey and stay<br />
at the show... Some members have had their shoer make extra set of<br />
shoes to bring in case they need a replacement during the show, extra<br />
Chicago screws, and double check your tack before you pack.<br />
Also, one year I learned a personal but painful valuable lesson, bring<br />
sunscreen!<br />
I am looking forward to seeing you at the show. Will have a great time<br />
with all the activities; events, match races, team events, volley ball games,<br />
kids events, barbecue, etc.<br />

RATING FOR STATE SHOW<br />
In order to compete at State Show 2012 all riders must be<br />
rated no later than <strong>July</strong> 6, 2012. They must be either rated a<br />
minimum of Future Champion or have ridden a minimum of<br />
15 events during the show season. The 15 events can be<br />
combined on more than one mount.<br />

WILL BE $100.00 PER SPOT ON VENDOR ROW AND $10.00<br />
PER VENDOR FOR SELLING FROM YOUR CAMP. TO RE-<br />
SERVE A SPOT ON VENDOR ROW SEND PAYMENT WITH<br />
YOUR REQUEST TO CGA STATE OFFICE.<br />

CGA is actively looking for sponsors for the 2012 State Final Match<br />
Races. The sponsor fee is $150.00. Sponsorship monies can come<br />
from a District, an Individual or a Business. There are 13 events. The<br />
event sponsored will be awarded on a first come first serve basis. The<br />
$150.00 fee covers the cash award to the Match Race Champion and<br />
the Belt buckle. If you or someone you know would be willing to<br />
sponsor please contact the CGA State office by calling<br />
(831) 623-9026.<br />
The sponsorship fees may be tax deductible as an advertising<br />
expense, however CGA recommends that you consult your local tax<br />
person.
