Chief Administrative Officer, Indian Railway Project Management Unit, New Delhi, for and
on behalf of the President of India invites sealed open tenders from the competent
contractors having sufficient experience in similar work as per following details.
Name of Work:
Design, Supply, Installation, integration with existing
system involving trenching, cable laying, erection,
termination and wiring of AFTC , location boxes, signals,
LC gates in connection with the work of provision of 3 rd
line & Automatic signaling on Up line of Aligarh-Khurja
section and Bidirectional Automatic signaling on middle
line of Allahabad division of North Central Railway.
Estimated Cost of work Approx. Rs. 8,18,56,314/-
(Rs. Eight Crore Eighteen Lac Fifty Six Thousand Three
Hundred Fourteen only)
Earnest Money Rs. 5,59,290/=/-

04.01.12 to 03.02.12 during the working hours on production of Pay order/Demand Draft for Rs.
10,000/- (Ten Thousand Only) from a Nationalized/Scheduled Indian Bank drawn in favour of Dy.

FA&CAO/IRPMU, New Delhi towards the cost of tender document. Tender document can also be
purchased through post/courier by sending Demand Draft/Pay Order for Rs. 10,500.00/- (Rs. Ten
Thousand Five Hundreds only) drawn in favour of Dy. FA&CAO/IRPMU, New Delhi. However
IRPMU will not be responsible for any forwarding delay. Tender document may also be downloaded
from website: www.irpmu.railnet.gov.in, www.ncr.indianrailways.gov.in & India government
portal www.tenders.gov.in . In case tender document is downloaded from website, it should be
submitted with a demand draft/Pay order of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten thousand Only) issued by
Nationalized / Scheduled Indian Bank drawn in favour of Dy.FA&CAO/IRPMU, New Delhi as cost of
tender document along with bid. Cost of tender document is not refundable and tender document is
not transferable.
The payment to the contractor/vendor would be made through EFT/ECS.
Minimum Qualification Eligibility Criteria: A) Should have completed in the last three
financial years (i.e. current year and three
previous financial years) at least one similar
single work for a minimum value of 35% of
Advertised Tender Value of Work.
B) The total contract amount received during
the last three years as per current
ITCC/Audited Balance Sheet should be
minimum of 150% of the Advertised Tender

support for maintenance including supply of spares
for a minimum period of seven years from the date
of commissioning of the section ”.
Additional Technical Qualification criteria:
If tender is other than the RDSO approved firm for
AFTC then an authorization certificate from RDSO
approved firm of AFTC will be enclosed for
installation and commissioning of the AFTC
equipment by OEM and technical support for
subsequent maintenance for seven years.
