ENFit Components and Accessories
ENFit TM is the new international standard for enteral nutrition devices, compliant with ISO 80369-3 norm
as developed and defined by a group of clinicians, manufacturers and regulators known as GEDSA (Global
Enteral Device Supplier Association).
ENFit TM connectors have been developed following the customers’ increasing demand to improve patient
safety; their unique design provide a locking feature that signals and warrant appropriate connectivity, and
makes them incompatible with all standard luer medical devices, thus reducing the risk of misconnections.
HMC is now offering his ENFit TM range of products which include components, medical devices and
accessories; a variety of adapters is available to allow connection of ISO 80369-3 devices with those of the
old enteral standard.
All ENFit TM components are purple coloured or, in case of tubings,
have a purple stripe to differentiate the enteral feeding lines from
other patient lines; selected components are also available in other
colors such as orange and white.
The wide internal diameter of syringes and connectors allows for
low pressures and optimal flows when delivering
medicines and feeding solutions; this feature is particularly
important when treating adult patients but crucial for pediatric and
neonates patients.

ENFit Medical Devices
Enteral feeding tubes represent the main range
of ENFit TM medical disposables; these are
available in a variety of lengths, diameters
and configurations, and allow exclusive
connection of devices fitted with ENFit TM
components, such as syringes, extension
lines and nutrition containers.
ENFit TM feeding tubes features:
• Polyurethane short and long term tubes
• Fully radiopaque or with radiopaque stripe
• Size from Fr04 to Fr20
• Length from 40 cm to 160 cm
• Depth markings on entire tube length
• Stainless steel guidewire
• Tungsten weighted tubes
• Double lumen tubes (feed and ventilation)
