is the mausoleum of Ibrahim Adil Shah II, known for<br />

trophy of a war in the 17th century, the Sherza Burj was<br />

specially built <strong>to</strong> place it. You can’t even imagine that how<br />

<strong>co</strong>uld it bring here, it bought with 400 oxen, 10 elephants,<br />

and tens of men. The gunner has <strong>to</strong> dip under water <strong>to</strong><br />

escape from the sound of the cannon after the explosion.<br />

The “Upli Burj” was built by Hyder Khan. It is 80 feet high<br />

<strong>to</strong>wer which was a watch <strong>to</strong>wer used for moni<strong>to</strong>ring<br />

purposes. There is a circular staircase <strong>to</strong> reach on the <strong>to</strong>p;<br />

you can take a view <strong>to</strong> the city. The two large cannon are<br />

still there.
