* Geo – Technical Studies can be outsourced through empanelled<br />

specialist whose name is appearing in the list of empanelled specialists<br />

of MoRTH.<br />

4.8. Social Analysis<br />

The social analysis study shall be carried out in accordance with the MORT&H/World<br />

Bank/ADB Guidelines. The social analysis report will, among other things, provide a<br />

socio-economic profile of the project area and address in particular, indigenous people,<br />

communicable diseases particularly HIV/AIDS poverty alleviation, gender, local<br />

population, industry, agriculture, employment, health, education, health, child labour,<br />

land acquisition and resettlement.<br />

4.9 Traffic Surveys<br />

All traffic surveys and studies will be completed in feasibility studies.<br />

4.9.1 Number and Location of Survey Stations (For each projects)<br />

2. The number of survey locations indicated in the table above is indicative only.<br />

The Consultants shall, immediately upon award of the work, submit to<br />

NHIDCL proposal regarding the total number as well as the locations of the<br />

traffic survey stations as part of inception report. Suitable maps and charts<br />

should accompany the proposal clearly indicating the rationale for selecting the<br />

location of survey stations.<br />
