INTRODUCTION AND RITE OF INSTALLATION Archbishop Fisher All Archbishop Fisher All Please be SEATED. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Peace be with you. And with your spirit. Archbishop Fisher will then welcome all present to the Installation and request from the Papal Nuncio whether there is a mandate from the Holy See. The Papal Nuncio confirms that such a letter has been received and the Archbishop will ask that it be read. The Papal Nuncio will read the Papal Bull, first in Latin and then in English. The Chancellor, Monsignor Ron McFarlane, will show it to the College of Consultors. Archbishop Fisher will then lead and place the new Bishop in the Cathedra. Bishop Vincent is then presented with the Cathedral Crozier. The new Bishop will then receive formal recognition from a family in the Diocese, two pilgrims who will participate in World Youth Day 2016, two members of Religious communities from the Diocese, and two priests of the Diocese. During the Recognition the Cathedral Choir will sing ‘Ego sum pastor bonus’ by G. B. Matucci. Ego sum pastor bonus qui animam meam pono pro ovibus meis I am the good shepherd who offer my life for my sheep.
