ASCII Optimization File Contents
• Iter — Major iteration number.
• Simul — Cumulative number of simulations performed at the current iteration.
• LS Step — The step length α k taking the direction s k at the kth iteration. This step length
is used to update the current iterate with the formula: x k+1 = x k + α k s k .
• Merit Function — Value of the merit function.
• Feas — Measure of feasibility. Will be small in the vicinity of a solution.
• Optim — Measure of optimality. Will be small in the vicinity of a solution.
• Slack — Norm of the slack variables added to the range constraints to prevent a
potential inconsistency.
