Specifying Simulation Output
Dynamically Adding Voltage/Current Plots
connection established, remote simulator is waiting for commands.
When you connect to a simulation (Id1 for example), Active is displayed in the
Connection column. If you then connect to a different simulation (Id2 for example), the
Connection status of simulation Id1 changes to Opened and Id2 becomes Active. For
example:

Once a simulation is connected Eldo will display the following in the simulation
transcript:
Note 54: Remote connection established. Simulation is suspended
until connection is closed.
4. Enter required .PLOT/.PROBE commands.
For example:
> .plot v(1)
Each command entered is sent to the simulation and Eldo will verify the request. If the
command is valid, the Simulation Connection Manager displays:
Command successfully transmitted.
Eldo will display the following in the simulation transcript:
Note 57: Remote command received: .plot v(1)
If the command is not valid, Eldo transmits any .PLOT/.PROBE related warnings back
to the Simulation Connection Manager.
You can also create a file of .PLOT/.PROBE commands and, using the load command
of the Simulation Connection Manager, load the file content; each command is sent to
the active simulation.
5. Disconnect (or quit) to resume the simulation.
Once a simulation is disconnected Eldo will resume simulation and display the
following in the simulation transcript:
Note 55: Remote connection closed. Simulation is resumed.
