Output Types
Eldo can generate three types of output:
• Graphical output (.wdb) for the EZwave waveform viewer.
• Measurements from the results of simulation; either scalar or vector.
• Tables and reports in the ASCII output (.chi) file and additional files.

Output Commands Overview
The output commands define which simulation results will be written to the output files for
display.
Output commands include:
• .EXTRACT
A fundamental and very powerful command in Eldo to extract information from the
various analyses and waveforms using a combination of arithmetic expressions or predefined
functions (.MEAS is also supported as an alternative).
• .PLOT
Specifies which simulation results have to be kept by the simulator for graphical
viewing and post-processing. Results are written to .wdb binary output files for postprocessing.
• .PRINT
Defines the contents of a tabular listing of any number of output variables. Results are
written to the .chi file in ASCII.
• .PROBE
Writes simulation results of specified objects to .wdb binary output files for postprocessing.
• .MEAS
Alternative to the more powerful .EXTRACT command.
