Eldo built-in DSP function
Calculates the Auto Correlation Function (AF) of a waveform. The AF of a signal waveform is
an average measure of its time domain properties and therefore especially relevant when the
signal is random.
Tip
There are two methods available for calculating the auto correlation, namely the
Correlogram and Periodogram methods. For more explanation refer to the Autocorrelation
function description in the EZwave User’s and Reference Manual.
Usage
set wv_out [autocor $wv_in $method]
set wv_out [autocor $wv_in $method $nbpts]
Arguments
• wv_in
The input waveform the function is acting upon.
• method
Select the AF calculation method.
0 for correlogram (default)
1 for periodogram
• nbpts
Number of points for the AF result.
Return Values
wv_out is the resulting output waveform.
