INCOME LEVEL 2013<br />
Income here refers to income subject to state taxation. The<br />
income per inhabitant has been calculated from the state<br />
taxable income of the whole population.<br />
Households at risk of poverty (i.e. low-income earners) are<br />
those household dwelling units (i.e. households) whose<br />
disposable income per consumption unit is lower than 60 per<br />
cent of the median income of all households in Finland.<br />

Jobs have been divided into five categories.<br />
Production joins the IC categories B–F (mining, manufacturing,<br />
energy and water supply and construction).<br />
Trade covers industries G and I (trade, accommodation and<br />
food services activities).<br />
Transport covers industries H (transportation and storage).<br />
Business services include the industries J–N (information<br />
and communication, financial and insurance activities, real<br />
estate activities, professional, scientific and technological<br />
activities as well as administrative and support service<br />
activities).<br />
Society services include the industries O–U (public administration<br />
and defence; compulsory social security, education,<br />
human health and social services, arts, entertainment, recreation,<br />
other service activities, households as employers<br />
and the activities of international organisations).<br />
Jobs total contains the above mentioned categories plus<br />
forestry, agriculture and fishing plus X (industry unknown).<br />
