John ElhiloW, C.PED, o.s.t. (508) 429-2038
seeking Rep. Tom Sannicandro’s
soon to be vacated state representative
seat in the 7th Middlesex
District, has officially secured
the necessary number of nomination
signatures to be in the
district’s September 8th Democratic
Primary.
“I am running to be the state
representative for Ashland and
Framingham,” Lewis said, “because
our towns deserve to be
represented by someone who will
be a full-time advocate for the
needs of our families, schools,
and communities. I bring unique
experiences as a local parent,
non-profit leader, and ordained
minister that I believe will serve
our district well at the State
House.”
Lewis previously served as
the assistant minister at the Unitarian
Universalist Society of
Wellesley Hills, where he provided
ministerial oversight to
the congregation’s social justice
and education programs. He
currently serves as the executive
director of OUT MetroWest, a
Framingham-based non-profit
for LGBTQ teens he helped to
create. He is also an active member
of the Framingham Democratic
Town Committee.
