Approvals<br />

German Aircraft Maintenance was awarded the Approval by the Federal Office of Civil<br />

Aviation (LBA) to operate officially as an EASA Part-145 approved Maintenance Company<br />

and the MRO Approval Certificate by the Bermuda Department of Civil Aviation,<br />

BDA/AMO/644 (see Certificates).<br />

For A300, A300-600 and A310 German Aircraft Maintenanc<br />

is one of the few remaining specialised maintenance organisations in Europe.<br />

In order to fulfil the needs of operators and lessors around the world,<br />

regulator approval needed by our customers.<br />

Line & Base Maintenance<br />

Our scope of maintenance includes Line and Base Maintenance for commercial aircraft,<br />

ranging from Daily- and Weekly-Checks up to A- and C-Checks, special structures work<br />

packages and modifications.<br />

The Line Maintenance is not restricted to our home base in Paderborn Lippstadt Airport.<br />

We also offer Line Maintenance in Bremen and Friedrichshafen or on request of our<br />

customers at other destinations.<br />

We organise our operation in a flexible manner according to our customers’ demands.<br />

Our personnel operates 24/7 in shifts on weekdays as well as on weekends to guarantee<br />

AOG Service 24/7<br />

We offer AOG services that require immediate attention in order to get commercial aircraft<br />

repaired and serviceable as soon as possible.<br />

Upon customer request German Aircraft Maintenance enables the expeditious and precise<br />

deployment of relevant personnel where and when necessary.<br />

We have at our disposal all modern communication forms possible in order to meet all AOG<br />

service requirements.<br />

Modification<br />

German Aircraft Maintenance is able to perform a wide variety of modification work for<br />

our customers to suit all their requirements. This work includes modifications of cabin<br />

layout, installation of additional fixtures and fittings according to the requirements and<br />

standards of the owner/operator.<br />

The tasks for modification works are planned according to the customers’ individual<br />

demands.<br />

To provide you with the best deals, modifications are to be performed during checks<br />

or within separate idle periods that correspond with our workload.<br />

Dismantling<br />

One of our further business segments are the professional dismantling and stripping<br />

down of aircraft taken out of service (including those taken out of storage). After removal,<br />

the usable parts of the dismantled aircraft can be stored, if necessary, according to your<br />

requirements. The unusable parts will be disposed in an environmentally appropriate manner.<br />

The approval to operate as an EASA Part-145 company in connection with the existing<br />

authorisations for additional work enable us to issue certificates for serviceable parts<br />

that have been removed. This is a valuable facet for the aircraft owner/operator.<br />

The reusable parts that have been issued with the relevant certificate may be reused<br />

within the operator’s fleet or may be offered for sale as required.<br />

Storage & Parking<br />

German Aircraft Maintenance offers a comprehensive storage/parking with subsequent<br />

support and modification according to the standards, specifications and procedures of<br />

the new operator concerned.<br />

During the storage time the technical support and maintenance is carried out by our<br />

qualified staff on a regular basis as per the recommendations of the relevant aircraft<br />

manufacturer.<br />

German Aircraft Maintenance additionally provides aircraft parking space for up to eight<br />

aircraft on our own apron area.<br />

MRO Facilities<br />

The German Aircraft Maintenance MRO facilities are a protected sensitive area that are<br />

located on the perimeter of the Airport security area. The MRO facilities can be accessed<br />

by aircraft via a specially designed electronic gate.<br />

From the land side our facilities are accessible for customers and logistics without the<br />

harassment of airport security that customers often have to endure.<br />

We have a car parking capacity of over 100 parking lots adjacent to the main entrance.<br />

With more than 1200 m² of office space, the facilities have ample room for training, briefing<br />

and administration. Individual office space with telephone and internet access<br />

is available for customer representatives.<br />

For customer spares and components, storage space is available on demand.<br />
