The giant Serbian center has huge potential and could certainly fulfil it soon. He played in<br />
the EuroBasket Qualifying Round for EuroBasket 2009 two years ago but didn’t make the<br />
team for the Final Round last summer. Nevertheless, Boban Marjanovic has assumed a key<br />
role with Hemofarm Vrsac for two years and helped his team reach the finals of the Serbian<br />
Superleague this season, averaging 9.5 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game. He<br />
could be given a chance by Dusan Ivkovic to play at the 2010 <strong>FIBA</strong> World Championship<br />
where his immense size and wingspan could be a real advantage for the Serbian National<br />
Team. He can also run the floor pretty well and has developed his aggressiveness and now<br />
tries to dunk the ball more. Like most Serbian centers, he is a very good passer. Next season,<br />
he will move to CSKA Moscow and will make his debut in Euroleague.<br />

2010 has been the year of explosion for this very offensively minded player. Cebular left the<br />
Slovenian league in 2007 after a first taste of the National Team during 2007. He went to play<br />
in the second tier of Spanish basketball, , perhaps a strange choice for an international player.<br />
In Rosalia however, he obviously learned how to be<strong>com</strong>e a leader. After two seasons in the<br />
starting five, he came back in Sentjur last summer and last season, he absolutely dominated<br />
the Slovenian <strong>com</strong>petition, leading the league in scoring by averaging a fantastic 20.7 points<br />
per game in 32 games! Maybe even more impressive were his shooting percentages which<br />
were very good (51.3% overall and 40.0% behind the three-point line). This summer in Turkey,<br />
he should have plenty of confidence to help the selection score some points.<br />

sağladı. Dusan Iykovic Marjanovic’e 2010 <strong>FIBA</strong> Dünya Şampiyonası’nda oynaması için bir<br />
şans verebilir böylece devasa boyu ve kanat genişliğiyle Sırp Milli Takımı’na büyük bir avantaj<br />
sağlayabilir. Sahada çok iyi koşabiliyor ve agresifliğini kontrol etmeye başladı. Şimdi ise daha<br />
çok potaya smaç basmayı deniyor. Çoğu Sırp pivotlar gibi o da çok iyi bir pasör. Gelecek<br />
sezon CSKA Moscow ‘da oynayacak ve Eurolig’deki ilk sahnesine çıkacak.<br />

2010 savunma odaklı bu oyuncu için tam bir patlama yılı oldu. Cebular 2007’de ilk kez Milli<br />
takımda oynadıktan sonra Sloven ligini bıraktı. Ardından uluslararası bir oyuncu için oldukça<br />
zor bir kararla İspanya ikinci liginde oynamaya başladı. Ama Rosalia’da nasıl lider olacağını<br />
öğrendi. İki sezon ilk beşte yer aldıktan sonra geçen yaz Sentjur’a geri geldi ve 32 maçta oyun<br />
başına olağanüstü 20.7 sayı ortalaması yaparak ligdeki Sloven mücadelesine açıkça tüm<br />
ağırlığını koydu! Belki daha da etkileyici olan atış ortalamasının oldukça iyi olmasıdır ( toplam<br />
% 51.3 ve üçlük çizgisinden %40.0) Bu yaz Türkiye’de eleme skoruna birkaç sayıyla katkıda<br />
bulunacağı konusunda kendinden oldukça emin.<br />
