SHAHINA SIDDIQUI<br />
Shahina Siddiqui moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba from Pakistan. While in Pakistan she attended<br />
St. Joseph College at the University of Karachi where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts<br />
Degree with a major in English honours and Philosophy.<br />
Shahina is the Founder and Executive Director of the Islamic Social Services Association based<br />
in Winnipeg. She served as volunteer executive director for ISSA-- USA and Canada from 1999<br />
to 2003. She continues to serve as president and volunteer executive director of ISSA-<br />
Canada. She is also the Chair of Islamic History Month Canada.<br />
Shahina is active in the community as a member of the RCMP Commissioner’s National Advisory<br />
Committee on Diversity as well as the RCMP Commanding Officers’ Diversity Committee,<br />
D-Division in Manitoba. She has also served with several NGOs and community organizations<br />
in Winnipeg. In addition to her work with various organizations, Shahina contributes as a<br />
freelance writer, spiritual counsellor, and public speaker.<br />
