If you work at a desk, sip water
throughout the day.
Drink water out of glass containers. Try
to avoid the plastic water bottles as they
are made from many different chemicals
that have the potential to leach into the
water – and those chemicals your body
doesn’t need whatsoever.
Sip warm or hot water during a meal,
not ice drinks to help with digestion.
Eat fruits and vegetables high in water
content. This habit provides not just
fluid but vitamins, minerals, and other
healthy nutrients. Soups are another
good source of fluid plus nutrients.
up all of the the bad foods, like
grains, deep-fried foods and
sugary sweet desserts and
drinks, typical of the Western
diet followed by most
Americans.
In other words, it looks like you
have proof that you can mostly
follow the healthy
Mediterranean diet, eat more
fresh fruits and vegetables, fish
and olive oil — and cheat with
some of those “guilty-pleasure
foods” — yet still hold onto your
health.
So why is your doctor forcing
you to eat only the “healthy
foods?” Likely because he’s
