LAST weekend KHS hosted
long-standing rivals Girls’
High School from Queenstown.
On Friday afternoon
the netball teams took to the
courts.
The KHS first team proceeded
to trounce their opposition
– the final score being 43 to
8 in favour of the KHS girls.
Goal Shooter and Goal Attack
players, Masimbonge Ndyebi
and Siphesihle Ngculu received
quality possession and
the opportunity to slot goals
almost at will from the defence
and wing attack players.
The brave but hopelessly
outclassed GHS team battled
valiantly against the welldrilled
KHS squad.
Ms Debbie Herbst, KHS
coach, commented that, “the
team is going from strength
to strength and I foresee an
enjoyable and successful
season ahead”.
On Saturday the hockey girls
took to the astro in fine and
warm weather. KHS were
once again victorious as they
slotted 6 goals without conceding
a reply from the
invaders from the Hangklip.
