For what is a financial resource, this analysis is more specified in the banking sources from an angle where the
company deals with bankers and financial institutions to manage the overdraft and the loans seeing that they both
represent the main source in finding funds for the company.
1. ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT:
Accounting service is considered as one of the most important resources for the company seeing that they are the
first people to have the legal justifications of having funds, spending funds and possible spending. The accounting
service as it’s in mutual contact with the treasury, its role is to provide any illegal transaction of the company. As
for their function, they’re responsible on doing the daily follow of the financial flows in the company’s bank
accounts and treasury, therefore, their mutual contact with the cash manager is based on verifying either the
transaction have been done on the right time with the exact amount of cash in the appropriate bank account and
then inform immediately the treasury department.
2. TREASURY DEPARTMENT:
The Treasury is on the top of the financial sources for this study or analysis, seeing that they have the main role in
gathering all the financial information about the existence of flows inside the company and for how long these flows
could stay stable. As a treasury department; their main function is to analysis the daily fluctuations and variations
of the financial flows of the company in order to justify the balance at the end of the day. Usually this operation of
following the daily transaction and cash flows, depends mostly on the relation and information that this department
gets from the purchasing department seeing that the main activity of this company is the distribution, and the main
profit is managed or realized by buying the most of the company’s products and goods and sell them on the market.
The treasury department is responsible also on the elaboration of the forecast financial study of the company,
which allows them to have the first idea and prediction about the amount of the flows that the company might
have by the end of the month or even the day. This elaboration gives the department the priority of controlling the
extra funds or the deficit is existed according to the financial administration decision. Therefore, this department
is considered as the main source of knowing the nature and variability of the flows inside the company and
therefore control these flows.
3. THE FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATION:
The financial Direction is mostly directed by the global direction or the DG as they call it. Its main role is to contribute
in the analysis of the financial situation of the company or most, managing the cash flows of the company in a way
that they get to be managed, controlled, optimized and well organized in the short term as for the long term. This
direction was a first source information for my study seeing that they are the head of the treasury department that
allowed me to have the exact information on the treasury and the cash flows. The gathered information from this
direction were a source of elaborating the analysis and study of the direction of the forecast (global scenarios that
could be elaborated).
