L’Ameublement Français for
the first time at Index Dubai
(stand 6E-32)
Formed on behalf of the National Union of French Furniture
Industries, l’Ameublement Français aims to bring together
companies with complementary commercial interests so
they can share assignments in common markets. The
association also organises French pavil ions at the most
important exhibitions, such as the International Furniture
Fair in Singapore, Furniture China in Shanghai, the Salone
Internazionale del Mobile in Milan, Decorex International
in London, Maison et Objet in Miami.
For the first time at Index Dubaï, 10 companies will be
showing a complete range of products for living room,
kitchen, outdoor, bedroom.

Akalys is a family-run company employing 250 people
and specializing in the manufacture and sales of quality
furniture sold B-to-B into specific markets. Established
over 50 years ago, the company currently operates in
3 different sectors: bathroom furniture, medical furniture
and shop fitting.
Since 1981, Ambiance bain manufactures and designs
bathroom spaces and has become one of the leading
brand of the French bathroom furniture industry.
Ambiance bain creates an art of life combining elegance
and design.
By associating technology and aesthetics, the different
collections of Ambiance bain propose new fitting solutions
to redesign storage spaces with a real added value in
terms of decoration being the result of a permanent
research of high-end materials whether existing or
completely new.
A special attention is paid to the details in functionality as
well as in colours and finishes.
For a number of years we have proposed an exclusive
solution to create bathrooms in a single material and
colour using our antibacterial synthetic resin under the
brand SMO. An ideal moulded material for worktops,
basins, bath decks, shower trays and wall panels, an
innovative solution with a single name : Waterconcept.

to work
• Made-to-measure: ideal for fittings and refurbishments
• Hygienic and easy to clean: the synthetic resin is
covered with a waterproof antibacterial coating
• Simple and quick to use: can be put on existing wall or
floor coverings, easy to cut and to make fit...
• No grout line: prevents any risk of mould growth and
eliminates the inevitable periodic re-grouting of the
showering area. Non porous with no possible water
infiltration, it ensures that the walls are protected
Ultramodern production facilities and machineries allow
industrial series as well as bespoke products.

ALSAPAN (Furniture, Flooring, Worktops) was founded
in 1972 and is the third-largest flat-packed furniture
manufacturer in France. The company has annual
production of some 4.5 million pieces of furniture, 1.5
million worktops, and 15 Million square meters of laminate
flooring in its 5 production sites. ALSAPAN has an ongoing
capital investment program designed to meet market
requirements associated with the continuous upgrading
of its industrial processes. The company has always
sought to drive and improve its production capacities and
skills, and has frequently led the field in the use of new
technologies.
ALSAPAN joined the EPI group in 2007, and the company
has a sound financial base which provides the guarantee

Long experience and different partnerships set up with
international customers have allowed ALSAPAN to build
up an industry-leading manufacturing expertise which
has led to the company developing innovative techniques
in its 4 production facilities :
• Panel wrapping of furniture parts: ALSAPAN has 2
panel-wrapping production lines and is the only French
manufacturer to have this resource and technology which
it developed in 1994.
• Laminate panel pressing.
• Finish foil furniture.
• An exclusive process for glueing edgebands.
• Direct pressure lamination of worktops - a process
unique in Europe developed by ALSAPAN for its
Wasselonne facility.
ALSAPAN’s membership of the EPI Group has allowed
it to carry out a €25 million capital expenditure program
over the last 4 years. There are 5 production facilities with
a total surface area of over 155,000 m² dedicated to the
production of specific products.

Burov is a brand at the forefront of innovation. It was
created in 1948 in the heart of Faubourg Saint Antoine,
the Paris’ furniture and design neighborhood. The brand
creates new design and trends, and is a renowned
manufacturer in the luxury home furniture sector.
Burov is now proposing to re-edit its historical collection
from the 50’s and 60’s, designed by Genevieve Dangles
and Christian Defrance, who were iconic figures of the
Paris’ design scene and have designed throughout the
50’s and early 60’s a series of high-end furniture for
premium homes and luxury lifestyles. Each offers a vision
of French elegance and the techniques and materials
used transport us into a world of comfort.
The first wave of re-editions by Burov of iconic creations
from 50’s testifies the commitment of the brand to a luxury
lifestyle and innovative design.
All Burov products are made in France, in the brand’s
factory based in Candé, in the West part of France. The
whole handcrafted manufacturing process is carried
out by a team of competent collaborators. The wood,
transformed in our workshop and used in our process,
comes from France, as part of sustainable initiatives
promoted around the country.
The foam is created in our factory and made according to
our foaming process. Each model is made from a unique
mold, also made in these factory, which allows to product
a molded foam which provides an unrivalled comfort and
longevity.

The Taillardat Company, founded in 1987, is specialized
in the manufacturing of high-quality furniture. Based on
original design and manufacturing methods of the 18th
century, our models are hand-drawn in the concern to
pass on the French Tradition.
The supply is directly inspired by the Louis XV, Louis
XVI, Empire and Directory styles with a catalog of more
