Riverland
SOUTH AUSTRALIA
The Hickinbotham family has a longstanding history in the Australian wine industry beginning in 1936 when Alan Robb
Hickinbotham established the famed Roseworthy Enology course at
Roseworthy Agricultural College in South Australia. In 1972, Alan Robb and his son, David established their first vineyard
together. In 1995, the Hickinbotham family purchased 1,760 acres in the Riverland. The Paringa vineyards are located near
Renmark on the River Murray and cover approximately 800 acres. Today, David along with his wife and son, Alan Robb,
named after his grandfather, manage and oversee all aspects of the vineyard and winemaking.
