The Mosolo family history dates back to 1447, where the family originated near Munich, in the Bavarian region of
Germany. In the 18th century, the family relocated to Friuli Venezia Guilia to farm vineyards and produce wines. Angelo
Mosolo started the winery at the beginning of the 20th century when he started to increase wine production and
selling to local markets. In the early 1970’s, his son, Gleni, inherited the vineyard and expanded into the Colli Orientali
del Fruili region. In more recent years, Gleni and his son Michele manage the family business. The Mosolo family has a
state of the art production facility and promotes sustainable and
environmentally friendly vineyard management practices.
