Two Angels Sonoma | High Valley CALIFORNIA Two Angels wines are crafted by famed California consulting winemaker Robert Pepi and owned by the Kreps family. Two Angels Petite Sirah and Sauvignon Blanc vineyards are located in the new AVA of High Valley in Lake County at an elevation between 1700-2200 ft. The Cabernet Sauvignon was grown in the Mayacamus Mountains in Sonoma County and the Pinot Noir was grown on the Napa County side of Carneros. The label art was created by Jacob de Backer in 1591 and the theme is the hilarity of inebriation and the trauma of the morning after. Excessive joy must be countered by equally excessive sorrow, with penitential atonement for pleasure. Related to the Oriental "yin and yang" concept it was created as an allegorical warning to "use wine sparingly or suffer the consequences."
