but if he didn’t do such a horrible
thing and make me bottle up my
emotions then I wouldn’t have
had the slightest chance of
beating anyone else who
auditioned. If I auditioned
without the emotions I would
most likely not have got the
part. I guess my mother is
also a person I should
thank; my mother
helped me gain my
confidence back and
got me back out
there in the real
world”.
Fame & fortune
We’re all crazy for
Simranjit, we absolutely
adore her, but we don’t
exactly know how it all
feels from her
perspective, which is
exactly why we
needed to ask how it
all feels becoming so
famous and loved by
millions of ‘Vengeance’
fans.
“It’s just
indescribable”
“Oh my, I can definitely
say I’m not wealthy as of
yet but the fame has
certainly been insane;
I guess it really hit me
that I’ve become famous
when I was out shopping
with a few friends and
we noticed a group of
girls looking at us and
just talking amongst
themselves, they even
followed us into a
couple of shops until
one of them had the
courage to approach
me and she kindly
asked if I was from
the ‘Vengeance’
programme and if
they could get a
photograph with me
as well as an
autograph. That was
the moment I realised
that I’ve become
famous.
Ever since that one
moment, I started
getting more and more
people approaching me
and recognising me, it
was becoming crazy. I
even started getting
tons and tons of fan
mail, which my whole
family try and help me
sort out.
In my fan mail I get the
most wonderful gifts
from sweet little
postcards and letters
from fans to gifts such
as poems, drawings,
paintings and even
photographs of me with
the fans with captions
on the photo asking if I
remember them and
how much they love the
show and me. It’s just
incredible and so
indescribable. I love my
fans because without
them I wouldn’t be so
famous.”
After Vengeance
We hope to see much
more of Simranjit in
more ‘Vengeance’
madness but sadly, as
we all know, Vengeance
won’t be around forever
which is why we were
so curious to know if
Simranjit has any plans
for the future after
Vengeance. Hopefully
we’ll see more of her
amazing acting in years
to come.
“Modeling has
always interested
me ”
“Well it’s still early on in
the whole ‘Vengeance’
programme so I haven’t
given it any proper
thought because it’s so
far away but I must
admit, I have always
been interested in
modeling. I enjoy what I
do and I will most likely
go into auditioning for
films or even other
programmes. I might
even consider live
performances on stage
to build up my
confidence and acting
skills but I would like to
at some point step away
from it all and just have
some fun at photo
shoots and possibly
even go to some fashion
shows. It’ll be relaxing
and a new experience.
I did enjoy the photo
shoots I had for the
‘Vengeance’ programme
as well as the photo
shoots I’ve done for this
magazine. I got to try on
thousands of new high
quality clothes and try
out different styles and
different accessories
with the clothes. It
reminds me of my
carefree childhood
when I used to go to my
mother’s dressing table
and wardrobe. I’d pull
out all her make up,
shoes, dresses and wear
them all day as well as
make a complete mess
of all her clothes and
draw on all the walls
and on all over my face
with her lipstick.”
Any acting tips?
Here are a few wise
words from Simranjit to
any aspiring actors and
actresses:
“Stay confident, don’t
lose focus, and dedicate
a lot of time to practice.
A lot of blood, sweat
and tears need to go
into every bit of
practice. Also don’t be
afraid to let your
emotions flow out
because sometimes the
emotions you hold in
can really help make
your acting look more
realistic.

Newly discovered teen sensation and star of “Vengeance”, Simranjit
Bhamra, tells us about her very own vengeance moment and how it
helped her land a role in the much adored hit TV programme,
“Vengeance”.

and boys drool
over her. Simranjit
Bhamra, star of
“Vengeance” turned
from ordinary
schoolgirl to much
loved and chic teen
sensation in a matter
of hours. However,
not many know about
Simranjit’s little
secret that helped
land her the lead
role!.
“My little secret”
Simranjit may look
innocent but in our
exclusive interview
she told us how she
was close to getting
her own back on a
previous lover who
once meant the world
to her.
“I loved him. He
destroyed me.”
Simranjit started off
explaining how she
fell for a guy who she
once thought was
perfect. “He was
weird, wonderful and
down to Earth, I
would have never, in
a million years
picture it ending like
how it did. Simranjit
then informed us of
how her ex boyfriend
treated her terribly.
“He was perfect but
then he changed, he
used me and
controlled me, I
wanted him to suffer
and beg for
forgiveness.”
“He changed,
I wanted revenge”
“I wanted him to feel
my pain, I was close
to getting my wish,
but I just couldn’t, I
couldn’t do the deed.
Yes, I wanted him
gone from my life but
not like this. I’m not a
killer, never will be, I
just bottled up all my
pain and emotion. I
would let karma do
its job, I told him to
just go and leave my
life and to leave me
alone forever before I
do something I’ll
regret.”
Audition day
Simranjit narrated to
us how she felt on the
day of her audition, “I
remember walking in
to a small empty room
with the directors and
scriptwriters. I was
given a line to read
and in that moment, I
let out every emotion
and feeling I had
bottled up from my ex,
all my feelings flooded
out in the audition
and they just sat there
with jaws wide open. I
was able to relate
heavily to the
script, it was like
reading my life story
on paper. It was just
the perfect script, to
be honest I don’t even
remember having any
sort of fear or any
nerves.”
“I’m still shocked
they picked me”
“I honestly am still in
shock, I can’t believe
that they picked me
out of everyone, they
had the chance to
pick some
extraordinary
talent, people
with real
experience in
show business
but instead
they picked
me. Why’d
they pick
me? I
don’t know, they told
me that it was simply
because I was
genuine, I didn’t
need to act, it
was pure talent,
pure teenage
attitude and
characteristics.
