After the bids, all 3 main Mobile Operators have mapped out the plans to expand the infrastructure continuously as follows: AIS progressively moves forward on the developments of its networks and service work by abundantly spending the budget of 40,000 million Baht in 1 year to forge ahead with laying down its network to cover the areas throughout the country this forthcoming May 2016 (Telecom & Innovation Journal, Volume 16-19 February 2016). Power Production Industry Situation The present Power Development Plan is the Country Power Development Plan, B. E. 2555-2573 (2012-2030) (PDP 2010), Revision No. 3. However, Ministry of Energy has drafted a new Power Development Plan which is the Power Development Plan of Thailand, B. E. 2558-2579 (<strong>2015</strong>-2036) (PDP <strong>2015</strong>), approved by a resolution of National Energy Commission (NEC) on 14 May <strong>2015</strong>. In drafting PDP <strong>2015</strong>, the assumption on Gross Domestic Product (GDP), 2013-2036, at the average of 3.94% per year is used in comparison with the original plan at 4.41% per year. Any rate, PDP <strong>2015</strong> places the importance on the stability of power system in the country by reiterating the diversifications on the sources and type of fuel fuels for use in the power productions. Such new PDP will reduce the proportion of dependability on natural gas down to remain to not exceed 40% in 2036 from 65% of the present maximum power requirement quantity. In addition, the power productions from clean coals will be increased from approximately 19% to 20%-25% and the proportion on the purchase of hydropower from neighboring country increased to 15%-20%.
