<strong>The</strong> inscription shows that the first Apis of the 26th dynasty was<br />

born in the 26th year of Taharqah and died in the 20th year of<br />

Psammetichus I at an age of 21 years, which shows that<br />

Taharqah ruled for 26 years. This is also confirmed by other<br />
