From the Manager It was a long day last Saturday away to Guernsey. With the flight being delayed by 3 hours and us having to rush both too and from the airport with little time to spare, it ended up being a stressful day. I thought as though it was a game of two half’s with Guernsey having the better of the first period and us controlling the game for large portions especially possession wise in the second half. We had many chances and should have converted at least a couple of these however it wasn’t meant to be and we were caught out twice on the counter attack against the run of play. The 15 or so supporters that travelled were fantastic and for officials of Guernsey saying they are the best away fans to visit this season speaks volumes. 7 games remaining and our aim Is to finish with as many points as possible. With one eye on next year there will be one or two more additions and that hopefully will make us stronger going forward and put us in a good place come next season.
