In general, V10 late-season nitrogen sidedress applications resulted in yield gains of<br />

3.03 Bu./A. along with economic gains of $12.57/A. when compared to the growers<br />

normal earlier sidedress program.<br />

The 75% of the late-season sidedress timing trials that proved economic gains<br />

averaged increases of $22.09/A. Although the other 33% did not prove positive, the<br />

average return losses were within an average of $6.46/A. of the grower’s normal<br />

program.<br />
