As the largest and oldest Catholic high school in North Dakota, <strong>St</strong>. Mary’s <strong>Central</strong> <strong>High</strong> <strong>School</strong> has been<br />
offering a quality curriculum in a Catholic-Christian environment for over ninety years. The charts below show<br />
how the students at <strong>St</strong>. Mary’s <strong>Central</strong> <strong>High</strong> <strong>School</strong> score on different exams in comparison to other students<br />

<strong>2009</strong> American College Test Scores<br />
The American College Test (ACT)<br />
is the most widely accepted college<br />
entrance exam used throughout<br />
the United <strong>St</strong>ates. Each year, high<br />
school senior students take this test<br />
as a means of admitting them to<br />
universities and colleges throughout<br />
the United <strong>St</strong>ates. The graph below<br />

<strong>2009</strong> North Dakota Assessment Testing Scores<br />
The North Dakota <strong>St</strong>ate Assessment measures students’ accomplishments in the areas of mathematics and<br />
reading. This exam is taken on an annual basis by all juniors across the state of North Dakota to judge how well SMCHS<br />
students are comprehending the information taught to them in the classroom. The graphs below show how well SMCHS<br />
students scored in comparison to students in the North Dakota public schools.<br />
