In Abb. 2 ist der Demonstrator im Betrieb zu sehen. Die
stabile Übertragung eines Videos wurde mehrfach auf
wissenschaftlichen Veranstaltungen am IHP gezeigt.
Das entwickelte System ist ein wichtiger Schritt, der
darauf abzielt, die Robustheit der UWB- Kommunikation
mit den sehr hohen Datenraten der 60-GHz-Kommunikation
zu kombinieren.
Das Projekt WIGWAM wurde im Juli 2007 erfolgreich
abgeschlossen. Aufbauend auf dem Erreichten werden
die Arbeiten nun im Rahmen des vom BMBF geförderten
Projektes EASY-A (60-GHz-Breitbandverbindungen)
fortgeführt. Dieses neue Projekt mit etwa 20 Industrie-
und akademischen Partnern wird vom IHP als Verbundkoordinator
seit dem 01.01.2008 geleitet.

In Fig. 2 the demonstrator is shown in operation. the
robust transmission of a video clip was shown at several
scientific events at IHp.
the developed system is an important milestone in
our efforts to combine the robustness of uWB communication
with the very high data rates of the
60 GHz communication.
the WIGWAM project was successfully completed in
July 2007. Based on the results of this project the
work is continued within the BMBF funded German
project eASY-A (60 GHz broadband links). this new
cooperative project with about 20 partner institutions
from industries and academia is coordinated by
the IHp. It has started on the 1st of January 2008.
