2009 wurde die Zusammenarbeit zwischen dem Gemeinsamen
Labor IHP / BTU und der Abteilung Materialforschung
am IHP weiter intensiviert. Neben der
bereits laufenden Arbeit zu MIS-Stapeln mit dünnem
Hf-Oxid für MIS-LEDs wurden gemeinsame Arbeiten zu
dünnen Ge-Epischichten auf Si begonnen, wobei das Gemeinsame
Labor für die Bewertung der optischen und
elektrischen Eigenschaften verantwortlich zeichnet.
Allein zu den Halbleitermaterialien und -technologien
sind im laufenden Jahr vom Gemeinsamen Labor 30
Arbeiten in Fachzeitschriften publiziert oder zur Veröffentlichung
akzeptiert worden, mehr als 30 Vorträge
wurden gehalten, darunter 4 eingeladene. Außerdem
wurden 2009 zwei Tagungsbände herausgebracht, zum
E-MRS Spring Meeting 2008 (Symposium K), und zur
GADEST 2009.
Für die laufenden Projekte standen im Jahr 2009 mehr
als 700 T Euro eingeworbene Drittmittel zur Verfügung,
die durch das IHP bzw. die BTU verwaltet wurden.
Hervorzuheben ist die Ausrichtung der 13. Internationalen
Konferenz „Gettering and Defect Engineering
in Semiconductor Technology“ (GADEST 2009) durch
das Gemeinsame Labor zusammen mit dem IHP, woran
mehr als 140 Wissenschaftler aus 20 Ländern teilnahmen.
Das Gemeinsame Labor unterstützt das Lehrangebot
der BTU mit Vorlesungen, Übungen und Praktika. Weiter
beteiligt es sich an der Graduiertenschule DEDIS-Nano
der BTU. Im Jahr 2009 haben Mitarbeiter des Gemeinsamen
Labors eine Masterarbeit und eine Promotion
abgeschlossen.

We intensified the cooperation between the Joint lab
and the IHp department Materials Research. In addition
to the existing cooperations on MIS-stacks with
thin Hafniumoxide for MIS-leDs, joint activities on
thin epitaxial Germanium layers on silicon were started,
with the Joint lab responsible for the characterisation
of the optical and electrical properties.
In 2009 the staff of the Joint lab saw 30 journal papers
published or accepted for publication, gave more
than 30 lectures, among them 4 invited ones, all related
to semiconductor materials and technologies alone.
In addition, two monographs on the e-MRS Spring
Meeting 2008 (Symposium K) and the GADeSt 2009
were edited and published.
More than € 700k third-party funds were available for
the projects running in 2009. the funds were administrated
by the IHp or by the Btu.
We would also like to highlight the organisation of
the 13th International Conference “Gettering and Defect
engineering in Semiconductor technology (GA-
DeSt 2009)” by the Joint lab and the IHp with 140
participating scientists from 20 countries.
the Joint lab supports teaching at Btu Cottbus by
conducting lectures, exercises and practical courses.
In addition, it contributed to the graduated school
DeDIS-nano of the Btu. In 2009, one phD thesis and
one master thesis were finished by members of the
Joint lab.
