4 CHARITY ROUND UP : WAJIBIKA
The OAM Wajibika group travelled to
Mary Mother Academy, Lunga Lunga
on the 11th February 2016 to donate
food and clothing to the students of the
Academy.
The group, comprising year 13 students
bought foodstuff as well as sweets and
juice with the money raised from the
11th december 2015 Fun Day. The trip
to Mary Mother Academy was a two hour
drive from the Likoni Ferry. Upon arrival,
they were greeted with warm smiles and
open arms. During the tour, they visited
various classrooms and interacted with
the children. Soon after, they were given a
tour of the beautiful campus which boasted
scenic views of lush green hills. Towards the
end, they enjoyed the traditional dances and
songs presented by the children at the home.
They then distributed juice, sweets and
officially handed in the rest of donations.
