Nach <strong>de</strong>r Ankunft <strong>de</strong>s neuen Jahrgangs, 2012er <strong>Garage</strong> <strong>de</strong> <strong>Papa</strong> rouge,<br />
habe ich zu einer kleinen vertikalverkostung mit anschliessen<strong>de</strong>m Menu<br />

Die aussergewöhnlich geringe Produktionsmenge dieser Weine führt zu einer noch geringeren Menge, die exportiert wird.<br />
Derzeit sind noch kleine Mengen <strong>de</strong>s 2009 und 2012 rouge verfügbar.<br />
Der Preis liegt unverän<strong>de</strong>rt bei Euro 45,- p. Fl.<br />

months. Nearly all of the stages of transferring the wine are done through a gravitational<br />
process, which prevents the <strong>de</strong>licate aromas from being lost. Lewinsohn’s white wines<br />
do not un<strong>de</strong>rgo malolactic fermentation in or<strong>de</strong>r to maintain their naturally high acidity<br />

Winemaking: Fermented in small, open top tanks, with frequent punch down. Skin<br />
contact is limited to the duration of fermentation extracting the purest expression of the<br />
carefully chosen fruit. Aged in extra-fine Burgundy French oak barrels for 12 months.<br />
Almost all of the processes done in the winery are gravitational and therefore do not<br />
harm the wine's unique aroma.<br />
