Mini Music-Makers<br />
Learning Activities <strong>for</strong> 4 – 5 year olds<br />
Hounslow Music Service is extending its well-known Saturday morning music<br />
school to include a structured programme of musical activities <strong>for</strong> younger<br />
children.<br />
Parents are invited to attend an initial FREE TASTER SESSION on :<br />
27 th <strong>February</strong> <strong>2016</strong> or 5 th March <strong>2016</strong><br />
at the Hounslow Music Service, 4-8 School Road, Hounslow, TW3 1QZ<br />
either 9.30 am – 10.15 am or 10.30am – 11.15 am<br />

Sessions will be available at the Hounslow Music Service subject to demand at<br />
a cost of £45 per 10 sessions from the Summer Term <strong>2016</strong><br />
About Mini Music-Makers<br />
Children are taught by specialist music teachers to make music through<br />
singing and playing instruments. Melody and percussion instruments are<br />
integrated with favourite songs and well-known nursery rhymes.<br />
The Early Music programme will gradually introduce stringed instruments, in<br />
particular the violin, and this instrument will become the focus of musical<br />
learning <strong>for</strong> each child.<br />
There are established pathways within the Music Service <strong>for</strong> children to grow<br />
and develop as musicians throughout all of their school years, and our Mini<br />
Music-Makers programme is the basis of this journey.
