Power Reeling International, LLC is a 100% certified woman owned minority manufacturing 

company located in the Oil & Gas Corridor of Northwest Houston, Texas. Power Reeling 

International, LLC manufactures Quality Engineered Reeling & Coiling Systems. Power 

Reeling provides over 40 years of combined experience in systems design, application 

recommendations and manufacturing of Reeling and Coiling Systems. Industries served

DESCRIPTION 

The mobile measuring and coiling systems were designed for coiling (or spooling) material from 

master payoff reels mounted on a reel rack, reel roller platform, turntable or payout cart. These 

units are provided with a 1”, 2" or 3” measuring device, drive system and collapsible coiling 

head. The tube frame is mounted on wheels, as well as casters and floor locks for 

maneuverability within a warehouse facility. Standard coiling head dimensions are 5"W x 20"ID 

x 30"OD. Special size coiling heads are available, plus the coiling head can be removed and 

plug in shafts can be installed for small reels. Variable speed AC drive systems (up to 2HP) with 

safety footswitch or manually operated units are available. The model HMC/PO includes a 

manual hydraulically raised reel payout system making the unit a completely self-contained reel 

to coil system. Options include plug in shafts, digital stop-to-length meters, electric hydraulic 

cutters, electric hydraulic lift assist for the payout, as well as traverse levelwind systems.

DESCRIPTION 

The Rim Drive Series of Take-Up equipment is the standard for the distribution industry for wire, 

cable and other flexible materials. Featuring the quickest set up of all large reel handling 

equipment for winding material from reel to reel. The bottom urethane coated roller drives the 

reel; the top steel roller ejects the full reel. These units are offered in weight capacities from 

3,000 to 20,000 lbs., with reel dimensions up to 120" in diameter. The drive options are AC,

Description 

Collapsible Coiling Heads are designed to wind material onto the core, band material and collapse the 

coiling head for easy material removal. The collapsing outside paddles and ID pads, allow coil removal 

without handling a heavy, cumbersome flange or retainer arms. Two (2) standard units include a 4 

paddle (4.5" W x 8" ID x 17" OD) and a 6 paddle (5" W x 20" ID x 30" OD) version, these sizes are, 

typically, available for immediate shipment. Or coiling heads may be designed to exact dimensions. 

Economical welded style and totally machined precision coiling heads are available. In addition, 

adjustable ID and Width heads with manual, hydraulic, air or electrical adjustment are available. 

Sturdy all steel construction with hardened steel bolts and flex lock nuts. 

• These heads are steel machined and welded construction for close tolerances for long life. 

• Four (4) to sixteen (16) reinforced paddle arms for added coil uniformity. 

• Steel Radius ID pads 

• Off set back structure for ease in banding. 

• Material start-up catch hooks. 

• Coil width is adjustable. 

• External style release latch, which when unlocked smoothly collapses the heads front structure to 

remove the banded coil. 

• Variety of mounting arrangements available. 

• The paddles are machined design consisting of reinforced carbon steel plate. 

• Front assembly, once unlocked, travels on machined cold roll steel center shaft support which is 

pinned to rear fixed back plate.

tension required to prevent slippage.

Telescoping Reel Jacks are light and easy to use in the plant or in the field. Two (2) jacks are 

required to support each reel. The high tensile steel spindles are grooved on each end to 

prevent shaft creep and provide a smooth payoff of wire or cable as it rolls on heavy duty cam 

roller bearings. Reel Jacks are available for 26" to 120" reels weighing up to 15,000 lbs. Special 

options are available including arbor cones, extension stands (as shown), and various size

DESCRIPTION 

Paralleling Reels are equipped with rolled tubing flanges designed with a standard 2" arbor 

hole. Power Reeling units are compatible with most all competitors Take-up and Payoff 

equipment. Compartment Reels reduce the need for multiple payout systems. The Multi- 

Compartment Reels are very popular with Electrical Contractors. Compartment Reels allow for 

the paralleling of cables to be pulled directly in to conduit or duct, or as a multi-paralleled cable 

onto a master reel. This allows the contractor to take just one reel to the job site with all the 

different lengths and conductor sizes of the cable you need. PWR Compartment Reels are 

available with 3, 4 or 5 compartments (special configurations are available upon request). 

Power Reeling International manufactures these units from heavy rolled tubing for the flanges 

and a heavy rolled steel plate core that includes a standard 2" arbor hole.

DESCRIPTION 

PWR Reel Stands offer safe, quiet and smooth are payoff from compartment or master reels. All 

models are constructed from a heavy tube steel and come standard with an industry leading 

paint specification that was formulated for Offshore Oil Platforms. PWR’s superior paint 

specification insures that the equipment will perform for many years with an extended term life 

due to the heavy paint coating that provides a high level of resistance to abrasion. These units 

are perfect for most any construction environment, including even the most severe coastal and 

industrial applications. 

PWR Reel Stands come standard with a locking device that provides a secure way of 

transporting reels to the jobsite. The locking mechanism prevents reel damage while loading or 

unloading, as well as preventing theft in transport or at the jobsite. Units include replaceable, 

extended wear resistant, high tensile, CDA-649 silicon tin bronze alloy, shaft support saddles. 

Each unit comes standard with a 1-1/2”, 2” or 2-1/2” diameter hardened steel shaft, depending 

on individual stand model and weight specification. 

AVAILABLE OPTIONS INCLUDE: 

1) Powered Reel Stand Options include Electric Hydraulic or AC Vector Powered Reel 

Stands for Take-Up applications to 100,000 lbs. and Powered Payout for simple power 

assist for ease of material payoff. Powered Stands are available with optional features 

that include digital touchscreen, automatic level-wind traverse units for even cable
