Thurlestone Church is just down the road from the hotel. There's been a church at this site for over 1,000 years,<br />
the current church being built in the 14th century. It's a beautiful church.<br />
Thurlestone's sandy beach is lovely in the summer months, gently shelving and not too busy either and there's<br />
a cute wooden café just behind the beach where you can sit and enjoy the views over a tea.<br />
The countryside is rural and unspoilt, with plenty of walks both along the coast and inland.<br />
