Nicks Notes
A decent run of results has seen us collect 11 points during the festive period and it was a run that
was desperately needed. Most Ironically though we played just as well in the games during our losing
sequence but without gaining any points.
The enforced lay off caused by the weather has been very disappointing but we did get a friendly
match in against Gravesham Borough which gave us a bit of a work out. Saturday’s postponement
was particularly disappointing as it was the only postponement in our league.
We now turn our attentions to the league cup and a quarter final clash against Corinthians. We had
been drawn away in all three of the previous rounds and so we were due to play at home and to play
a team at our level gives us a decent chance to progress to a semi-final. Corinthians will feel the
same way though and having beaten us twice by the odd goal this will be a great opportunity for us
to put those results right. We are however a little light on the playing front due to a couple of players
coming in that are cup tied and those leaving.
Please continue to get behind the team as you always do and let’s hope we progress to the first semi
-final since the Kent Senior Cup back in 2010.
Finally a welcome to Joshua Algar who has joined us from Whitstable Town.
