A I E S E C ?<br />

<strong>AIESEC</strong> is a global youth network impact<strong>in</strong>g the world through<br />

leadership development experiences.<br />

Founded <strong>in</strong> 1948 post-war Europe, a group of young <strong>in</strong>dividuals<br />

from 7 countries came together with a unanimous vision of<br />

creat<strong>in</strong>g powerful global impact. <strong>AIESEC</strong> envisions the "Peace<br />

and fulfillment of humank<strong>in</strong>d's potential"<br />

Currently present <strong>in</strong> over 126 countries and with over 86,000<br />

members, <strong>AIESEC</strong> is the world's largest youth-run organisation.<br />

In a world where we constantly face many different global<br />

challenges, <strong>AIESEC</strong> believes the key remedy is to develop<br />

responsible, purposeful and entrepreneurial young leaders of<br />

today, who will decide the fate of the world's tomorrow.<br />

oGCDP Officers are directly responsible for<br />

one of <strong>AIESEC</strong>’s core products – the Global<br />

Citizen Program. They help aid leadership<br />

and personal development of students<br />

volunteer<strong>in</strong>g exchange. oGCDP Officers are<br />

equipped with exceptional product<br />

oGIP team plays a vital role <strong>in</strong> deliver<strong>in</strong>g <strong>AIESEC</strong>'s<br />

professional <strong>in</strong>ternships for recent graduates and<br />

current students. oGIP officers serve as consultants<br />

to ensure applicants' compliance with both <strong>AIESEC</strong><br />

Exchange Procedures and the respective immigration<br />

policies of their <strong>in</strong>ternship's host<strong>in</strong>g country.<br />

Work<strong>in</strong>g closely <strong>in</strong> a team environment, oGIP<br />

primarily focuses on sales and customer engagement<br />

through <strong>AIESEC</strong>'s core products - Global Talent (GT)<br />

and Global Entrepreneur (GE). oGIP officers take on<br />

the role of 'experience managers' for applicants<br />

currently undertak<strong>in</strong>g their <strong>in</strong>ternational <strong>in</strong>ternship,<br />

support<strong>in</strong>g the applicant and ensur<strong>in</strong>g the quality of<br />

their program whilst overseas.<br />

function of Market<strong>in</strong>g and Communication (MaC) lies <strong>in</strong> reach<strong>in</strong>g out to target<br />

audience while creat<strong>in</strong>g powerful brand awareness. Us<strong>in</strong>g various market<strong>in</strong>g<br />

channels, MaC is responsible for elevat<strong>in</strong>g the status of <strong>AIESEC</strong>'s brand name<br />

<strong>in</strong> <strong>RMIT</strong> university. Be<strong>in</strong>g a dynamic portfolio, MaC officers must possess an<br />

performance through strategic management of human resources. TM officers<br />

will be the leader of our leaders - facilitat<strong>in</strong>g the development <strong>AIESEC</strong><br />

through encourag<strong>in</strong>g members' growth and nurtur<strong>in</strong>g potential talent to its<br />

f<strong>in</strong>ancial resources of the local committee to ensure the f<strong>in</strong>ancial<br />

susta<strong>in</strong>ability of our organisation. It is a consultative position where officers<br />

are to critically evaluate and support <strong>in</strong>ternal plann<strong>in</strong>gs through monetary and<br />

non monetary means. F&G will be work<strong>in</strong>g on projects throughout the year to<br />

reduce operational expenses by establish<strong>in</strong>g external partnerships and<br />

sponsorship.<br />

INDUCTION CONFERENCE<br />

to attend a 3-day State Conference <strong>in</strong> March (date<br />

TBA) whereby all Local Chapters of <strong>AIESEC</strong> <strong>in</strong> VIC<br />

will come together.<br />

The aim of the conference is to <strong>in</strong>troduce <strong>AIESEC</strong> and<br />

the organisation's purpose while equipp<strong>in</strong>g you with<br />

the necessary skills as a member.<br />

It will be your first step <strong>in</strong>to utilis<strong>in</strong>g <strong>AIESEC</strong>'s<br />

International network of young leaders, start<strong>in</strong>g with<br />

VIC region and progress<strong>in</strong>g beyond<br />
