Our Water Park has an attraction for every age! Take the little<br />

ones to splash around in the Waterin’ Hole, our shallow wading<br />

pool featuring a covered wagon, mini-slides, cactus fountains,<br />

and water sprays. Challenge the rest of the family to a race down<br />

Red Bird’s Mountain, our giant triple-lane waterslide, or try out<br />

the Tubin’ Flumes and end with a big splash in the catch pool.<br />

Prefer to relax? Float the day away on the Lazy River or sit back<br />

in a lounger with a frozen drink from the Poolside Bar & Grill in<br />

cable, and wood configurations, creating 47 total obstacles to<br />

conquer! It’s a fun way to challenge yourself both mentally and<br />

physically, and will leave you with a great feeling of personal<br />

(Stuff We Gotta Tell Ya!)<br />

Check-In: Check-in is 2:00 PM for campsites; 3:00 PM for<br />

vacation rentals. Balance is due upon arrival. Personal<br />

checks are not accepted at check-in. We welcome<br />

overnight campers on a first-come/first-serve basis. Please<br />

be considerate of your neighbors and plan to arrive before<br />

11:00 PM (quiet time).<br />

Check-Out: Check-out is 11:30 AM for campsites;<br />

10:00 AM for vacation rentals.<br />

Reservation Deposit: Reservations for campsites during<br />

peak season (June 11 - September 5) require a deposit of<br />

$100 per week within 7 days of making reservations; $25<br />

in Spring or Fall. Reservations for vacation rentals during<br />

peak season (June 11 - September 5) require a deposit<br />

of $500 per week within 7 days of making reservations; 1<br />

night’s rate in Spring or Fall. Balance is due upon arrival.<br />

Checks are only accepted 30 days in advance.<br />

Security Deposit: Vacation rentals require a $200 security<br />

deposit at check-in. The security deposit will be refunded<br />

when the key is returned and unit has been inspected by<br />

staff. Lost key fee is $35.<br />

Future Reservations: Reservations may be made up to 2<br />

years in advance. For reservations past the current year, a<br />

1 week minimum stay is required.<br />

Maximum People Per Site: The maximum number of people<br />

per site is 6.<br />

Minimum Stays: Reservations for campsites during peak<br />

season (June 11 - September 5) require a 3 night<br />

minimum stay; 1 night minimum stay in Spring or Fall.<br />

Reservations for vacation rentals during peak season<br />

(June 11 - September 5) require a 1 week minimum<br />

stay; 2 night minimum stay in Spring or Fall. All holiday<br />

weekends require a 3 night minimum stay.<br />

Cancellation Policy: Canceling or shortening a peak season<br />

reservation (June 11 - September 5) must be done at<br />

least 30 days prior to the arrival date for campsites and<br />

60 days prior to the arrival date for vacation rentals,<br />

or deposits will be forfeited. Canceling or shortening a<br />

reservation in Spring or Fall must be done at least 7 days<br />

prior to the arrival date.<br />

No Shows: No shows will be cancelled the day after the<br />

scheduled arrival date, after 4:00 PM, unless the guest has<br />

contacted the Front Desk and requested to hold the site.<br />

Guests: Displayed rates are based on 2 adults and<br />

children age 10 and younger. Children age 11-17 present<br />

at check-in are $6 per person all season. Extra adults<br />

present at check-in are $12 per person during peak<br />

season (June 11 - September 5); $6 per person in Spring<br />

and Fall. Any guest not present at check-in is $12 during<br />

peak season (June 11 - September 5); $6 in Spring and<br />

Fall. Guests are not permitted entry after midnight.<br />

Visitors: Visits of less than 1 hour within the campground<br />

are free; over 1 hour is $6 per person. Visitors are not<br />

given free admission to the Water Park. Visitors are not<br />

given discounts to the Western Theme Park or High Ropes<br />

Adventure Park.<br />

Campsites: Only 1 main camping unit and up to 6 people<br />

are allowed per site. A small 2-man pup tent may also<br />

be set up for children only. Although we try our best to<br />

honor site requests, we reserve the right to change site<br />

assignments.<br />

Group Tent Areas: 1 tent and 1 vehicle are permitted per<br />

site. At least 10 feet must be maintained between tents.<br />

Picnic tables or fire rings are not provided. No guests are<br />

permitted. No pets are permitted.<br />

Vehicles: Basic rate entitles campers to park 1 vehicle<br />

on site. 1 extra vehicle may be parked per site for an<br />

additional fee of $2 per night. Extra vehicles are not<br />

allowed in Group Tent areas. Please display vehicle pass<br />

at all times on rear-view mirror. You must turn the vehicle<br />

pass into the main office when checking out. The speed<br />

limit is 9 1/2 miles per hour throughout the campground<br />

(slower where warranted). All vehicles, including golf<br />

carts, mopeds, and motorcycles must be operated by folks<br />

with a valid driver’s license. The only 4-wheeled vehicles<br />

allowed are golf carts, other than your automobiles.<br />

Motorized scooters are not permitted. Automobile and RV<br />

washing is not permitted.<br />

Golf Carts: Personal golf carts must display a Frontier<br />

Town or Fort Whaley band signifying they will comply with<br />

property golf cart rules and regulations. All owners of<br />

personal golf carts must carry liability insurance on said<br />

golf cart and provide a copy of the Certificate of Insurance<br />

to the campground at which you’ve made reservations. A<br />

digital copy may be emailed to info@frontiertown.com or<br />

info@fortwhaley.com. Without this on file, your personal<br />

golf cart will not be permitted on site.<br />

Boats, Boat Trailers, & Utility Trailers: Boats, boat trailers, and<br />

utility trailers are permitted on campsites, but will be<br />

counted as the 1 extra vehicle allowed for an additional<br />

fee of $2 per night. If there is already a second vehicle<br />

on the campsite, one must be placed in storage or in the<br />

designated overflow area.<br />

Disturbing The Peace: Quiet time is from 11:00 PM to<br />

8:00 AM. Please, no loud talking, loud radios, loud<br />

televisions, or other loud noise between these hours.<br />

We do enforce a curfew - anyone under 18 years of age<br />

may not leave their campsite after 11:00 PM unless it<br />

is to and from the bathhouse. Please do not cut through<br />

other’s campsites. The use of generators is prohibited.<br />

Pets: We love pets! However, all pets must wear current<br />

and valid rabies tags, be leashed, cleaned up after,<br />

attended to at all times, and not be aggressive or exotic.<br />

We reserve the right to exclude or remove any animal we<br />

deem aggressive, in management’s sole discretion. Sorry,<br />

pets are not allowed in Group Tent areas or in vacation<br />

rentals, except for designated pet-friendly units.<br />

Bicycles: Don’t forget your bike helmet! Maryland State<br />

Law requires that children under 16 years of age wear<br />

a helmet while riding a bicycle. Bicycle riding is not<br />

allowed in the campground after sunset. Bicycle riders<br />

must obey the same rules of the road as a motor vehicle.<br />

The speed limit is 9 1/2 miles per hour.<br />

Campfires: Campfires are permitted from 8:00 AM to<br />

midnight. Please, never leave a fire unattended.<br />

Picnic Tables & Fire Rings: 1 picnic table and 1 fire ring are<br />

provided per site (excluding the Group Tent areas). Please<br />

do not move picnic tables or fire rings from your campsite<br />

or another’s campsite. Please inform the Camp Store or<br />

Front Desk if you need a picnic table or fire ring.<br />

Insect Control: Spraying for mosquitoes is conducted by<br />

Worcester County, Maryland and is done on the maximum<br />

number of days that the county allows, when necessary.<br />

Spraying is done between 2:00 PM and 5:00 AM.<br />

Sewer Hookups: Sewer hoses must be undamaged and<br />

must not be inserted into the sewer more than 6 inches.<br />

Due to Maryland State Health Regulations, all sewer<br />

hookups must be airtight and watertight. Sewer donuts<br />

are available at the Camp Store.<br />

Waste Water: Maryland State Law prohibits the discharge<br />

of any waste water (septic or gray water) onto the ground.<br />

Violators will be subject to a fine and possible eviction.<br />

Formaldehyde products are not permitted.<br />

Fire Safety: Fire extinguishers are located at the Front<br />

Desk, Camp Store, each bathhouse, and in all vacation<br />

rentals. Smoke detectors are provided in all vacation<br />

rentals. We recommend that smoke detectors be used in<br />

all RVs. All flammable liquids in the campground must be<br />

stored in approved safety containers.<br />

Fireworks: Fireworks and explosives of any kind are not<br />

permitted under any circumstances. Fireworks are illegal<br />

in Maryland. Anyone caught with fireworks may be asked<br />

to leave the premises without a refund. There will be no<br />

warnings.<br />

Smoking: There is no smoking allowed in vacation rentals,<br />

bathhouses, or any indoor public facility.<br />

Caution - Children At Play: Frontier Town is a waterfront<br />

campground and Fort Whaley has a large fishing lake.<br />

Both campgrounds have swimming pools. Small children<br />

and non-swimmers should always be attended by a<br />

responsible adult, especially when playing by the water.<br />

Beach Shuttle: The Frontier Town and Fort Whaley Beach<br />

Shuttles run daily during peak season (June 11 -<br />

September 5), with stops at Fort Whaley, Frontier Town,<br />

Assateague Island, and Ocean City. The Frontier Town<br />

Beach Shuttle runs Saturdays only in Spring and Fall,<br />

with extra runs made during major events. Riders under<br />

the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent/legal<br />

guardian.<br />

Closing Day: Closing Day 2016 for both Frontier Town and<br />

Fort Whaley will be Sunday, November 27. We ask that all<br />

campers exit the grounds by 1:00 PM.<br />

use any resulting pictures for any lawful purpose without<br />
