Current inquiries show that there is a significant potential for hydraulic<br />

turbines during the eighties <strong>and</strong> surely beyond. Indications are that sizes<br />

much larger than those currently in use will be ne<strong>ed</strong><strong>ed</strong>. Also, the types in<br />

dem<strong>and</strong> will include the adjustable guide vane nozzles, diagonal flow<br />

types, vertical types, <strong>and</strong> possibly the combination turbomachine with<br />

the turbine <strong>and</strong> pump unit in the same case,<br />
