Dear Matthew,
Thanks very much for the birthday card. I had a new
bike from Mum and Dad and about 20 people came to
my party on Wednesday. I had to get up early the next
day because we had a school trip.
We visited the Science Museum in London. I didn’t want
to go because science isn’t my favourite subject. But it
wasn’t boring. There were lots of interactive displays to
look at and games to play. The good thing about
museums in London is that you don’t have to pay –
they’re all free.
After the museum we had a packed lunch in Kensington
Gardens, and then we went for a walk. It was really nice.
We got back to Swindon at about eight. So I had two
good days last week.
