Mission headlines<br />
<strong>Cycling</strong> for all<br />
Always knowing the latest news/Covering cyclists’ needs,<br />
BDR is providing unique and standardized cycling formats for<br />
clubs to offer interested cyclists for participation.<br />
Regarding road cycling, these are starting with the community<br />
driven “Radwandern”. Foc<strong>us</strong>ed on families is “Volksradfahren”<br />
and with sportive character is “Radtourenfahren”. The bench<br />
for long distance riders is “Radmarathon” with 21 chosen<br />
events forming the “Radmarathon Cup Deutschland” Series.<br />
Offroad cycling format is the popular “Country-Tourenfahren”,<br />
the special interest on health and physical education lies at<br />
“Richtig fit Tag Radfahren”.<br />
Young people<br />
BDR‘s core issue is talent scouting in clubs and promotion of<br />
talents. To find and bound talents to clubs special events have<br />
been developped like „Fette-Reifen-Rennen“ with RadClub<br />
Deutschland and „Bike Hero“. The latter is a safe riding<br />
technique camp for talented kids accompanied by their<br />
families and friends.<br />
