Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, dear future and<br />
former participants of the “Branchentreff”<br />
and the “KarriereForum”.<br />
The current problems of the job market in Germany<br />
have already reached university graduates. Nevertheless,<br />
their chances on the job market are still above<br />
average.<br />
This is especially true for students and graduates with<br />
an excellent education. Particularly those academics<br />
who pursued an education at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität<br />
Munich are held in high esteem by<br />
many companies.<br />
With establishing the Career Service, one of the most research-oriented<br />
universities in Germany has managed to build a central contact point for<br />
students, graduates and companies.<br />
Students have to gather information about entering the job market and<br />
getting to know potential employers as soon as possible. Many companies<br />
are looking for new and highly skilled employees in the long run. Also,<br />
chances are high that companies offer permanent positions to former<br />
interns or working students, as they already had the possibility to get to<br />
know them.<br />
The Career Service offers support to both students and companies. By the<br />
“Branchentreff” and the “KarriereForum“, it matches interesting employers<br />
with highly skilled students and graduates.<br />

THE CAREER SERVICE<br />
Student und Arbeitsmarkt<br />
is the name of the central<br />
Career Service offered by<br />
Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität<br />
Munich and is incorporated<br />
into the university as a strongly<br />
established but independend institution.<br />
The institution is the result of the<br />
universitys´ successful attempt to<br />
establish and to further develop a<br />
Career Service at a German university,<br />
although this concept has its<br />
origins in the english-speaking<br />
countries.<br />
Its main aim is to serve as a partner<br />
and counseling service to students<br />
in order to prepare them for<br />
entering the job market, to provide<br />
them with further skills and to<br />
assist them in choosing the right<br />
employer.<br />
For companies it is of major importance<br />
to have a reliable and lasting<br />
partner at one of the biggest and<br />
most prestigious universities in<br />
Germany, counting more than<br />
50,000 enrolled students.<br />
The Career Service’s objective is to<br />
offer companies a variety of services<br />
to assist them in contacting<br />
<strong>LMU</strong> students and in gaining highly<br />
skilled and highly trained future<br />
employees.<br />
So far, the online job board has<br />
proven very successful, serving<br />
as one of the university’ central<br />
platforms, as well as the mentoring<br />
program, the broad spectrum of<br />
courses, and since 2008 the format<br />
of recruiting events.<br />
Moreover, the Career Service holds<br />
regular office hours which offer<br />
individual counseling to students.<br />
Also, students can benefit from<br />
scholarships for internships<br />
abroad, which facilitate planning<br />
and funding.<br />

The new concept of recruiting<br />
events at <strong>LMU</strong> Munich<br />
significantly differs from<br />
other events in that sector<br />
which draw masses of people. The<br />
goal is to initiate contact and to<br />
recruite while focussing on a specific<br />
target group:<br />

Each “Branchentreff” is organizedwith<br />
focus on a specific topic and<br />
brings together several companies<br />
from the same sector. So far, topics<br />
such as consulting (strategy and<br />
technology), audit, tax and advisory,<br />
banking, finance and insurance,<br />
media, law, IT & communications,<br />
and sales have been addressed at<br />
these events.<br />

As in previous years, two<br />
Branchentreff Jobmessen<br />
are going to take place<br />
in the coming summer<br />
semester <strong>2016</strong>. Topics are going<br />
to be sector-specific, as you can<br />
see below. In both the summer and<br />
winter semester <strong>2016</strong>, the program<br />
will be complemented by the <strong>LMU</strong><br />
KarriereForum I. und II.<br />
Because of the great success in<br />
previous years, the main concept<br />
of the fair series will remain the<br />
same and thus will again focus<br />
on a limited number of exhibiting<br />
companies in order to guarantee<br />
the maximum amount of attention<br />
on each company.<br />
An important element of these<br />
recruiting events, apart from the<br />
focus on specific sectors of industry,<br />
is the focus on a selected<br />
target group among students of<br />
Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität<br />
Munich.<br />
These target groups play an important<br />
role in planning the career fairs,<br />
as the advertisement of the fairs<br />
and the briefing of students should<br />
be as precise as possible. After<br />
the repeated request by companies<br />
to organize high quality career<br />
fairs at <strong>LMU</strong> Munich which do not<br />
focus on single sectors of industry,<br />
the “Brachentreff“ series is complemented<br />
by the “KarriereForum”,<br />
which is open to students from all<br />
fields of studies.<br />

entrances alike, all paths through<br />
the main building cross here. In the<br />
hall, two sculptures of members of<br />
the group “Weiße Rose“ remind the<br />
viewer that this historic place was<br />
one site of resistance against the<br />
Nazi regime.<br />

The standard profile is included in<br />
every booking. It provides space<br />

color on half of a DIN A5 page.<br />
Appearance in the <strong>Brochure</strong><br />
The number of copies is at least<br />
2,500. The area marked in blue<br />
represents the respective profile as<br />
it will appear on a double page in<br />

The most popular and the most<br />
frequently booked is the advanced<br />
profile, as it complements the<br />
standard profile by a whole DIN A5<br />

can present themselves to students<br />
for the duration of one hour each.<br />

logistics team in order to coordinate<br />
the assembly and therefore<br />
to guarantee a smooth procedure.<br />
Moreover, you can have your<br />
equipement delivered the day prior<br />
to the fair and have it picked up on<br />
the day of the fair by agreement.<br />
Time Schedule<br />
All fairs start at 10 a.m. and end at<br />
approximately 4 p.m. Accordingly,<br />
you have enough time to arrive at<br />
and depart from <strong>LMU</strong> Munich and<br />
to conduct interviews and present<br />
your company.<br />
Catering<br />
During the whole day of the fair,<br />
you will get snacks and beverages<br />
delivered to your booth by our<br />
service team.<br />
Assembling and Dismantling<br />
Smaller booths can be put up by<br />
yourself and your colleagues, if<br />
desired. Of course, our staff will<br />

Unter den <strong>Recruiting</strong>-Messen der <strong>LMU</strong><br />
München sind die Branchentreff Jobmessen<br />
sowie das <strong>LMU</strong> KarriereForum zu verstehen.<br />
Alle in diesem Dokument genannten<br />
Preise sind als Nettopreise zu verstehen<br />
zuzüglich der gesetzlichen Mehrwertsteuer<br />
von 19%.<br />
Veranstalter:<br />
Der Career Service der Ludwig-<br />
Maximilians-Universität München „Student<br />
und Arbeitsmarkt“, Referat III.7, Ludwigstraße<br />
27/1. Stock, 80539 München ist<br />
Veranstalter der einzelnen <strong>Recruiting</strong>-<br />
<strong>Events</strong>, im Speziellen die zwei Branchentreff-Jobmessen<br />
Medien, IT & Communications,<br />
sowie das <strong>LMU</strong> KarriereForum, zu<br />
den jeweils im Buchungsformular angegebenen<br />
Daten und Preisen.<br />
Anmeldung:<br />
Die Anmeldung zu einer <strong>Recruiting</strong>-Messe<br />
erfolgt verbindlich per unterschriebenem<br />
Formular. Das Formular stellt rechtlich<br />
einen Antrag auf Teilnahme an einer Messe<br />
dar. Ausschlag gebend für die Buchungskategorie<br />
ist das Datum des Zugangs der<br />
Anmeldung beim Veranstalter.<br />
Rechtsverbindlich wird der Anmeldungsantrag<br />
erst durch Rückbestätigung durch den<br />
Veranstalter.<br />
Die Mindestteilnehmerzahl einer <strong>Recruiting</strong>-Messe<br />
beträgt fünf Unternehmen, die<br />
maximale Teilnehmerzahl rekrutierender<br />
Unternehmen 15 bei den Branchentreff<br />
Jobmessen sowie 35 beim KarriereForum.<br />
Rücktritt:<br />
Bei Rücktritt nach Buchungsbestätigung<br />
wird eine Pauschale von 75 Prozent<br />
des Basispreises fällig, EUR 1.867,50<br />
(Branchentreff Jobmessen) / 1.867,50 (<strong>LMU</strong><br />
KarriereForum) zuzüglich der gesetzlichen<br />
Mehrwertsteuer.<br />
Bemessungsgrundlage ist der Standard-<br />
Tarif der jeweiligen Messe. Bei Rücktritt<br />
von Sonderleistungen wie Company Insight<br />
oder InterviewBox wird eine Pauschale von<br />
jeweils EUR 200,00 fällig. Bei Rücktritt von<br />
zusätzlichen Buchungen des Print Media<br />
Packages wird nach Druckschluss der volle<br />
Betrag fällig.<br />
Garantierte Messeleistungen:<br />
Unter die garantierten Leistungen der<br />
Messen fallen die Bereitstellung eines<br />
Standplatzes mit zwei mal vier Metern<br />
(Standard-Stand) sowie einer Interview-<br />
Box zur Führung von Einzelgesprächen am<br />
Messetag für die Dauer von 180 Minuten,<br />
sofern in der Buchung inkludiert. Die<br />
Veranstaltung wird angemessen beworben.<br />
Online Media Package:<br />
Das Online Media Package beinhaltet<br />
die Veröffentlichung der Kontaktinformationen<br />
des Unternehmens (Firmenname,<br />
Kontakt-Adressen, Ansprechpartner,<br />
soweit gewünscht), die Veröffentlichung<br />
eines Online-Firmenprofils mit mindestens<br />
einer Seite Firmenprofil (Inhalte sind<br />
vom Unternehmen zu übermitteln), bis zu<br />
maximal zehn kostenfreie Stellenanzeigen<br />
auf dem Digitalen Jobboard von „Student<br />
und Arbeitsmarkt“ sowie die Ankündigung<br />
der Veranstaltung auf der Internetseite von<br />
„Student und Arbeitsmarkt“.
AND CONDITIONS<br />
Print Media Package:<br />
Das Print Media Package ist in drei<br />
Buchungsmöglichkeiten zu bestellen und<br />
bezieht sich auf den Messekatalog, der mit<br />
einer Auflage von mindesten 2.500 Stück<br />
gedruckt wird. Das Standard-Paket beinhaltet<br />
die Veröffentlichung eines Firmenprofils<br />
auf einer halben DIN-A5-Seite mit<br />
Firmenlogo. Diese Formatierung entspricht<br />
einem Textbaukasten von 50 mm (Breite)<br />
mal 195 mm (Höhe). Das Advanced-Paket<br />
enthält das Standard-Paket (s.o.) zuzüglich<br />
einer ganzen DIN-A5-Katalog-Seite für<br />
eine Anzeige; das Premium-Paket enthält<br />
einen Textkasten für das Firmenprofil von<br />
110 mm mal 205 mm sowie eines ganze<br />
DIN-A5-Seite für eine Anzeige.<br />
Company Insight:<br />
Garantierte Leistung für ein Company<br />
Insight ist die Bereitstellung eines Raums<br />
für 60 Minuten zur Durchführung einer<br />
Firmenpräsentation für Messebesucher.<br />
Technische Hilfsmittel wie Beamer oder<br />
Lautsprecher werden bereit gestellt.<br />
InterviewBox:<br />
Garantierte Leistung der InterviewBox ist<br />
die Nutzung durch ein Unternehmen über<br />
einen Zeitraum von maximal 180 Minuten<br />
zur Führung von Einzelgesprächen mit<br />
Bewerbern. Eine Zahl von Bewerbern für<br />
die Gespräche wird nicht garantiert. Das<br />
Zeitfenster zur Nutzung der Box wird vom<br />
Veranstalter festgelegt.<br />
Standzuweisung:<br />
Die Standzuweisung sowie die Zuweisung<br />
der InterviewBox erfolgt durch den<br />
Messeveranstalter nach dem First-Come-<br />
First-Serve-Prinzip. Alle Stände sowie die<br />
InterviewBoxes sind gleichwertig. Ein<br />
Unternehmen hat durch die Buchung kein<br />
Anrecht auf einen bestimmten Messeplatz.<br />
Zahlungsbedingungen:<br />
Das Zahlungsziel ist 30 Tage nach Zugang<br />
der Rechnung. Der Rechnungsbetrag ist<br />
ohne Abzüge fällig und richtet sich nach<br />
der jeweiligen Buchungskategorie. Bei<br />
nicht fristgemäßer Zahlung behält sich<br />
der Veranstalter einen Ausschluss von der<br />
Messe vor.<br />
Verhalten auf einer <strong>Recruiting</strong>-Messe:<br />
Das Unternehmen beachtet die geltenden<br />
Sicherheits- und Brandschutzbestimmungen<br />
des Veranstalters und verhält sich in<br />
der Weise, dass ein sicherer und geordneter<br />
Messeablauf möglich ist. Das einem<br />
Unternehmen vom Veranstalter zur Verfügung<br />
gestellte, kostenlose Mobiliar ist mit<br />
gebotener Sorgfalt zu behandeln.<br />
Den Anweisungen des Veranstalters ist<br />
Folge zu leisten; bei groben Verstößen<br />
gegen die Sicherheit kann der Veranstalter<br />
Unternehmen von der Messe ausschließen.<br />
