klinisch onderzoek
CyTuVax start klinisch onderzoek met vaccin
voor mensen die niet reageren op standaard
Hepatitis B vaccin.
Het Maastrichtse biotech bedrijf CyTuVax
is gestart met een fase I klinische studie
met haar verst gevorderde vaccin (HBAI20)
voor mensen die niet reageren op het standaard
vaccin tegen Hepatitis B. Het onderzoek
wordt gedaan in het Maastricht MC
met 36 vrijwilligers. Voor meer informatie

Carduso heeft € 16
miljoen ‘uit te delen’
Met een klein berichtje in het Financieele
Dagblad kondigde de Universiteit Groningen
in september 2015 aan dat ze de deuren
gaat sluiten voor start-ups. Het nieuwe
fonds Carduso Capital zal voortaan het kapitaal
beheren dat beschikbaar is als investering
in startende bedrijven.
Carduso Capital is een onafhankelijk financieringsfonds
dat speciaal is opgericht om
het geld dat beschikbaar is van onder andere
de regionale ontwikkelingsmaatschappij
NOM, zorgverzekeraar De Friesland en
Investeringsfonds Groningen te investeren.
Verder zijn er gesprekken met andere investeerders
gaande om het nu al beschikbare
bedrag van € 16 miljoen te verdubbelen.
Carduso Capital wil bij voorkeur participeren
in technologie-bedrijven die zijn gebaseerd
op kennis die in het Gronings wetenschapscluster
in en om de Rijksuniversiteit,
RUG en het Academisch Ziekenhuis Groningen,
UMCG, sterk vertegenwoordigd of
daaruit afkomstig is.
