In Loving Memory

Dearest friends,
The world is full of wonderful, kind, happy people but there is one
less today. We have had many friends who square dance over the
years but we were to “busy” to learn and Jerry did not think he could
dance. It took a very persistent couple to finally persuade him to just
try.
It took one fun night to change his mind. He signed us up for lessons that night and told
me on the way home. He did not need to ask me-he knew I loved to dance even if it was by
myself or with the grandchildren. He said it was for me but I knew he was excited too. That
was 15 years ago. He has been working very hard to help keep our favorite past time alive
and thriving. He loved all of you. The smiles on his face were real. If he insisted on you getting
up to dance and make another square it was because he knew you could do it or you
could rest later. I have missed getting to dance with all of you the last two years but you were
always kind and welcoming when I was able to come. I am being told that life goes on and I
feel like with all the love and support I am receiving from my family, you and our God at this
difficult time I will. Know that I am grateful for the many cards and calls. I love all of you. I
will see you all as soon as I am able.

Memories of Jerry
When I think of Jerry, I think of a big presence,
teddy bear heart, full of life, passionate about
square dancing and someone who loved his family
and friends. When John & I took square dance lessons
in 2004 with BBB&B, we visited the Fairbees
a lot, because Jerry & Nanette Tucker and Vernon
& Ann Wells took us under their wings and made
sure they helped us progress in our dancing. I will
never forget their kindness :) Jerry will be missed
SO much. Our prayers, thoughts and love are with
Nanette and her family.
