Sight First ligne directrice du club
Sight First, het richtsnoer van de club
De Lions Club Braine l’Alleud sponsort al 20 jaar lang, om
de twee jaar, de aankoop van een blindengeleidehond en dit voor
het niet gefinancierde deel door de AWPH in het kader van Sight
First.
Depuis 20 ans, en partenariat avec L’ASBL Les Amis des
Aveugles de Ghlin, notre Club parraine un chien guide tous
les 2 ans, pour la partie non financée par l’AWIPH. Pour un
malvoyant un chien guide (coût +/- € 15.000) est un substitut
de la vue qui lui permet de revivre.
Nous proposons à toute personne, même étrangère au
Lionisme, désirant assister à une remise de chien de nous
contacter par email.
Présence au bicentenaire de Waterloo
Aanwezigheid op de 200ste viering in Waterloo
In nauwe samenwerking met de postzegelzegelclub van Braine
l’Alleud organiseerden we een belangrijke zegeltentoonstelling en
verkoop.
Er zijn nog een 30tal platen te koop van de 200ste verjaardag
met stempel van bpost op 18 juni 2015.
Notre Club était présent les 19, 20 et 21 juin 2015 (voir
photo en annexe) pour participer activement aux festivités du
bicentenaire de la bataille de Waterloo en collaboration étroite
avec le club philatélique brainois.

Durant cette exposition, nous avons mis en vente (€ 50,-) la
planche émise lors du 175ème avec son timbre et le timbre du
200ème avec le cachet de bpost du 18 juin 2015 (exceptionnel).
Il nous reste aujourd’hui une trentaine de pièces à vendre, les
intéressés peuvent les réserver en versant au compte BE45 0689
0113 6289 du Lions club de Braine l’Alleud la somme de 50 €.

Un tapis roulant pour le Centre Fraiteur
Een loopband voor het Centre Fraiteur
Le Centre Arnaud Fraiteur inaugure son tapis roulant
conçu pour aider les enfants victimes de paralysie cérébrale
à apprendre à marcher. Ce tapis roulant est un don de LC
Brussel Heraldic et la Loge Belle Alliance
Centre Fraiteur huldigt een loopband in, speciaal ontworpen
om kinderen met hersenverlamming terug te leren lopen.
Deze loopband werd geschonken door LC Brussels Heraldic en
de Loge Belle Alliance.
walk upright again thanks to a new treadmill in the Centre
Fraiteur in Molenbeek. A child with CP has trouble controlling
the muscles of the body. Normally, the brain tells the rest of
the body exactly what to do and when to do it. But because CP
affects the brain, depending on what part of the brain is affected,
a kid might not be able to walk, talk, eat, or play the way most
kids do. The treadmill was a donation from the Lions Club of
Brussels Heraldic’s 2014 Swimmarathon (Splash) fundraising
event and the Masonic Lodge Belle Alliance.
